How do you feel about dividing tournaments based on tier?

Do my rule: if you are diamond or challenger, your team CAN NOT participate unless you have active Moba members on your team. I wanted to play in the Moba tournament to get far and face psi guards team, and I can't remember but there was another team of a few plat/d with active members on it. I say no diamond unless they contribute X number of posts or guides, and no challenger period.
I know you do, and I support your PERSONAL decision to not participate in the tournaments. But thats a decision you made. Theres a difference when someone actively chooses not to participate and they are barred from participation.

Currently it supports all levels of play, if we implement this system it will only support unranked through platinum.

thats your personal definition. Mobafire does not explicitly say what is an amateur team and what isn't.

i can agree with every member, not any compisition of member based teams.
edit: moon just answered my argument the only way he could answer (?): picking the least relevant part of my post.
If there will be a split I'm not playing anymore either, if I'd lose I'd feel bad about myself and if I win there would be no glory. My team is Gold 3 atm, beating other Gold or lower players really doesn't give any satisfaction. However if we beat a plat/diamond team I'd be so damn proud!
So to all people who voted yes: Stop *****ing out, and show some damn pride and honor!
To the proposition of a minimum requirement of posts/rep: Great idea that I'd certainly support. It's not that much effort to gain some posts, but if someone takes the time to do so it really shows someone's willingness. This way it will scare off people who are just here for the prizes, and it will make it truly MOBAFire :)

Nobody expects the low teams/underdogs to win, and they shouldn't. This tournament is, in my opinion, for Moba members and people interested in Moba. The high diamond and challenger kids roll In to win and don't give a **** about Moba. Some of them have had accounts for 2-3 months for the tourneys and they haven't made a SINGLE ****ING POST.
With that part I agree, but if there's a mobafire member who happens to be in the challenger tier I don't see how we should exclude them because they are challenger tier. Any member should be welcome to join.
