not like they have the bodies to advertise...the jungler girl is probably the only hot one, id say jenny too but her voice is annoying as ****

i watched their stream and theyre just...so bad, jenny and alexa (their roster changed since that video i think) and jenny just made terrible calls thinking they could all in a graves and leona lane, when graves had barrier still up and leona had exhaust, pretty much just said "WE CAN KILL THEM WE CAN KILL THEM" -blue team double kill-

Having watched them play I wonder how they even got to plat. They seem more like low gold or maybe even silver to me. They just make bad calls and seem to not have much game sense.

Thank you Miss Maw, CasterMaster and Arcana3 for the sweet sigs. I'd definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a nice sig.

We had this discussion at my place a few nights ago. Patch and Warlemming were pissed that the girls were using the "female gamer" ploy to attract viewers, but I argued, how is that different from someone watching Athene because he's a troll (lol, Athene being banned again...), or watching DoubleLift because he's a great ADC?

While I personally didn't like watching them play because wow, so many high-pitched voices, eugh, they weren't AWFUL. And if they want to market them being an all-girl gaming team, in a gaming house, why not?

Does it hurt anyone? I don't immediately assume that every single all-male gaming team will be like TSM. If I somehow managed to find four other Australian girls who loved playing LoL and wanted to make a professional team, I'd want to tell the world about it too.

Last thing. When they got a sponsor, more than likely the sponsor and manager thought up that intro youtube video. It looked "professionally" done, so the marketing team decided to play on their all-girlness; it could be possible that the actual members are also embarrassed by the into clip and all the current hype.

I don't see anything wrong with showing your team off as an all girl team, it's just the way they are going about that rubs me the wrong way.

But if they are good enough to go pro then awesome, League needs more female players and they may be the ones to do it, they could just be a little less show-offish about it.

If they want a better image then their current image they have time to change the way they go about things, with their videos,

Maybe I'm being a little rough and nit-picky but they do have potential to go far.

I wouldn't mind them showing off if they actually had material to back it up... Compared to all the other world-class teams, they wouldn't stand a chance. I'd say they barely had a chance at most amateur scenes.

Worth watching? I wouldn't exactly say no; they're not exactly uninteresting. It's just that I wouldn't usually use them as a go-to reference for good plays.

After the Girls4LoL Scandal and the ThermalTake Dragons / CLGeu switcharoo, getting on streams and putting up donation links doesn't exactly make a girl team like Sirens look "legitimate". Advertising yourself as an "all girl" team (combined w/the asking for donations) also makes the team just look like a marketing scam instead of good players. No one advertises themselves as "all asian team" or "all russian" or "all guy team". Lautemortis doesn't advertise himself as "gay gamer". Aphro, Rhux, etc, don't advertise themselves as "black gamers". Also, Sirens really doesn't have potential to go far - they were disqualified the first round of Go4LoL to some random Diamond players, and they lose in ranked 5s to plats/nobodies.

A better comparison is how is this different from watching pre-scarf Ocelote's stream, as pre-scarf Ocelote and Sirens both come off as "entertainers" far more than "good players".
hi embracing. yes i play ff14 now.

I would agree with astrolia that if you're serious and trying to advertise yourself as a skilled player you don't focus on your physical or personal characteristics. You focus on your skill. That's what bothers me about the whole thing. If you're a female LoL player and you legitimately want to play at the top of the field then limiting your roster doesn't really make sense.

Sure "all ___ teams" can make good entertainment and that's perfectly fine, but their advertisements focus on the fact that they are a professional team and try to make it seem like they'll be competing with other top teams.

I'm kinda disappointed in general with how successful a girl streamer can be just by wearing a low cut shirt and playing at bronze, and they pass really skilled players in viewers. However, that's just kinda how things are and I'm not gonna get worked up over it. Streamers are able to be successful just by being entertaining to watch rather than skilled, which is fine. If Team Siren pisses you off and you complain to all your friends about it and link to their stream or youtube then you're just doing what they want anyways, getting them more views. If you don't like them just don't watch. :)

Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.

something i find annoying about them is whenever jenny dies/gets a kill she posts something in all chat about her ****

and how in game they type things like "go away im a girl" and "leave me alone" in all chat and basically being the stereotypical "girl gamer"

and yes thats how "girl gamers" act in this game because two of my frequent premades are "girl gamers" and im aware this doesnt apply to other gamers that are girls

i think theyre trying to hard with the whole "IM A GIRL AND I PLAY GAMES" thing instead of trying to play the game good

Their video seemed really flash and in your face, but maybe that wasn't their say. Maybe that was their manager and advertiser.

What bothers me is the immaturity. Little Jenny's stream is pretty much all "F***! F*** you! F***! I did something wrong! F***! I hate this f***ing lane!" and then yeah the whole trash talking and bad mouthing in all chat. Just bad.

They're a platinum team, and until they're in the LCS I'll treat them as such.
