There's a fundamental difference between Zed and Talon:
Talon doesn't need AS or Crit. Vapora's build isn't a "Crit" build either, just saying.
Yomuu's is simply a good choice and IE a high dmg item, the crit chance is just a nice add.
Personally a Bloodthirster could help you more then that IE.

- Zed ultis and spams his spells and then STARTS AUTOHITTING, thx to his Ultimate the dmg from crits multiplies!
- Talon jumps in, does TWO AUTOHITS AT BEST ultis and jumps out, he only stays as long as needed, normally that means to Rake, Cutthroat in, Diplomacy and Ulti out.

Vapora has a very strict way of playing and he has his reasons. His argument is that that build will provide the maximum burst possible.
However, if i must change an item for Sword of the Divine, i'd probably sell Mobility Boots or Youmuu's Ghostblade.

It works on Zed because he needs to auto-attack before Death Mark activates.
Talon gets 1 crit off from his Q, and that's it. Plus, it has no bonus AD.

I suppose Duff raises a valid point, SotD increases your single-target burst damage, whereas BT / Cleaver increases your AoE damage. But even then, the person you'd really want dead would have to be so tanky that you couldn't even kill them with BT. 99% of the time, I'd just roll with BT.
Cleaver WAS until very recently good on Talon, but the last nerf on it stopped Talon's Q applying 3 stacks instantly, and due to how quick a Talon with IE + Youmuu's can burst down a squishy enemy, you can probably even burst someone down before you even have a chance to apply the full stacks. BT's better than Cleaver now IMO.
Anyway GMD is correct, if you want to use SotD, chuck out Black Cleaver. If you want a defensive item, Black Cleaver should also be the item you replace it with. ( You can't have a defensive item and SotD in the same build because all other items are too important to replace )
@ TehAsian, Talon can actually get at most 2 crits in a standard Talon burst. Talon can abuse the auto-attack reset on his Q to get off 2 auto-attacks very quickly. That being said though, if you get SotD, you'd do more damage with a 3rd crit than from casting W.
Also, it should be noted that while Zed's kit in general does synergize better with SotD than Talon's, it doesn't precisely make 0 sense on Talon's kit either. Zed's ult increases SotD crits by 50%, Talon's E increases them by 15%. The issue is more the fact that Talon's burst with an IE + Youmuu's tends to be over-kill on an ADC anyway. Giving him 3 free crits is even MORE overkill in terms of single-target burst damage, and also reduces the possible AoE you could have had by taking BT.
