You'd enjoy Code Ge***, I think. But you'll probably enjoy the -monogatari series more, as Searz suggests. And probably the Haruhi stuff more, as well. I'd suggest watching them both first, as long as that isn't difficult. Hell, you can totally skip Code Ge*** if the art bothers you. You won't exactly be missing an earth-shattering piece of anime history if you skip any of these three.

I am at Episode 9 of SnK at the moment. Sorry for not updating in time because I'm not home for the holidays :P
I am basically amazed. So far, SnK is a dozen steps ahead of your average anime quality wise. I am really happy I decided to not postpone watching it any further, as I would have been missing on a lot.
I was able to predict the happening of a couple of events, like:
Predicted events
I also feel like I have a little theory of my own concerning the origins of the titans
Ah well, will watch a couple more episodes to see if I can confirm it
Concerning the characters, I didn't like Mikasa's art after she has grown up at first. But now, the more I look at it, the more I love it. She's pretty much among my favourite anime characters right along with Black Hanekewa and Oshino Shinobu. She's just the type of characters that deserves every second of her screentime.

Just wait til' episode 11 or so. That's where my most plausible theory so far comes from. Not sure if they ****ed that specific part up, but episode 11 is ****ing awful. Loads of important dialogue was changed around and lots of unnecessary "filler" was added (i.e: they drag **** out like crazy, prolonging sentences and such ****).

Please post your thoughts. It would be fun to share theories. I'm gonna try to be careful not to spoil you, seeing as the manga has gotten about twice as far as the anime has in those 25episodes.
Feel free to read the manga tho, the manga doesn't **** up several very important moments like the anime does :P

My favorite character is easily Annie. She's awesome. You'll see later :)
I honestly hate Mikasa's art in the anime. She was fine as a child, but oh my god how obvious it is that they wanted to sexualize her in her teenage form.
Her design is probably the only character design the anime ****ed up. Lots of people complained about Mikasa's design, for good reason.

It was.. decent.
I like the art aside from the weirdly shaped shins when you saw them from behind at an angle.
The story was really conveniently laid out and the motivation of the characters were doubtful at best. There were some really ******** moments.
It's a decent horror story if you ever feel like reading something short with disturbing imagery.
