Kayle's meta build is now AP with Nashor's Tooth. Has been so ever since they merged Malady into a single item. Akali is even less hybrid nowadays after they fixed her passive to not require AD and AP.

Some AP champions build Gunblade because of strong dual scalings on their skills. An example of this is Katarina.

Hybrid builds are only viable in a very small amount of champions because they actually synergize with them.

To build hybrid your champion needs to have the following traits:

- Good hybrid scalings (AP and AD) in one or more skills.
- Benefit from Attack Speed (hybrid items usually include Attack Speed)
- Their main damage source benefits or is based on auto-attacks (again, hybrid builds are usually AA based).

Who fits the build here?

- Jax
- Kayle

You can pull off a hybrid build on them because they have hybrid scalings, their autos become stronger and they can stay in combat long enough to use all the mixed stats. Though Kayle is getting a more AP-ish build that makes her hyperscale harder (some people still like to build Guinsoo's Rageblade on her) and Jax isn't so Hex-tech Gunblade dependant nowadays so his only actual hybrid item is now Trinity Force.

Akali is another example of quasi-hybrid champion that however benefits more of building AP than AD (she only picks the GB).

Tristana has only got AP scalings and she works as a heavy burster. Hybrid builds don't really allow her to burst hard, neither they maximize her DPS output. So you're better trying to make an actual build (AD or AP with Deathfire Grasp).

It is true that hybrid builds are a difficult... but this build is just a heap of random items.

Anyway, discard all the CDR items and build either full AP ( ) or full AD ( ) after your Gunblade-Rageblade core to bring your build a little closer to viability.

is not random but is indeed disposable..

For the lolz, just keep stacking Lifesteal with , get some HP like and apply that stuff AOE with to be a ineffectual but annoying pain in the you-know-what.

An interesting suggestion at last although I do not agree with frozen mallet on adcs...

A full active item build would also work funny stuff ( ).

That's what I call troll build :P
Amw since this is about attack speed+ap and would fit better...

Just because a champion has got AP scalings doesn't mean any AP build works.

Will explain it in a while, gotta run now though.

No need to strangle mate,I am pretty well into the game and have a good understanding of how it goes but I believe that those champions who usually play hybrid don't always worth "the title"...
Anyway it was supposed to be an alternative suggestion, nothing more nothing less...

The main reason being that I believe you don't really make an effort in trying to present a viable build. You pretty much throw a bunch of items into a champion without worrying about their synergy.

ADCs have very stale builds that maximize their DPS and you're just picking a bunch of on-hit things. Sure, this can work against low-level opponents but 9-10 of opponents that actually know how to play the game will rape you.

Trinity Force has no synergyc whatsoever with Tristana. You should know why the item is strong - the procs - . She doesn't have a spammable skill to make the proc trigger often. This is why you build it with Ezreal, Lucian and Corki but not in an AA-based ADC.

The truth is that i was clearly aiming on-hit effects and attack speed while trying to balance ability power and attack damage.
However I don't believe they have bad synergy with each other, the attack speed cap might not be reached even with rapid fire on but the burst damage is not half bad(1400 damage from 900 with no ap)
For trinity you have a point there since her cooldowns are quite low(even with 40% cdr),but every other option would make her easy to focus because of low movement speed and Statikk Shiv is not the best choice for a final item.

What I still don't understand is why champions like Kayle,Ezreal,Jax,Kogmaw and Evelynn should be fine with a hybrid build while Tristana who is clearly more ap than them and with an outstanding range for an apc is necessarily bad...
Anw,off and out,keep downvoting... :P

Thank you! Now why don't you do this for the first time every time when you comment? I mean, it was still a little harsh but you proposed some changes and suggested alternatives.

Because if he would have to do that for every single vote he would be busy for hours every day.
