Jarvan is just a better version of Xin. I dunno we'll see what happens in this promo tournament. Teams are taking these games so seriously so it'll be interesting to see what junglers are picked.

Can't really compare Xin and J4.
Their mechanics aren't the same and the plays you can make with either isn't the same.
I mean the biggest give away that they aren't the same is their R. The one is the complete opposite of the other.
That being said.
Xin is strong early to mid game. Not OP, not overly strong, he's just strong enough when played right.
Give him Boots of Mobility and Ancient Golem and he can come back pretty fast. Even with boots and Spirit Stone he can clear/farm fast enough to catch up again.
Add to that a Triforce and your build is complete.
After this Xin starts to fall off. If your game last longer than 30 mins, his impact will be noticeably lower than early to mid game. Make that 25 mins in high elo games where gold comes in faster due to better cs management in lane.
The downside is his dependancy of blue buff.
Without that he's a mediocre jungler. With it he can gank and secure kills constantly.
I can play a decent Xin.
I still can't play a J4. :D
Anyways, the tip about starting bottom buff then going for top buff, then ganking top. Very nice tip.
