Does anybody here have any idea of how well the hurricane works with her long range and her passive?
Crit or no crit, the item is amazing.

The moment a religious person unknowingly calls his own ways stupid: "And lol. I highly doubt you have magic powers. If you proved it I would believe you, but since you 'refuse to', I choose not to."

no, it really isn't
Come back when you have an actual rebuttal..
"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

You can get items with useful stats -
Phantom Dancer for example - that are better on ADCs because they need the critical chance, attack speed and movement speed. If you have
Infinity Edge and
Phantom Dancer you are going to make more damage with your basic attacks (+ the passive) than you would with
Runaan's Hurricane and the targets need to be really close to each other and it doesn't hit just one person. Standing in the bush really does the same as it does without attack speed.

Not sure what rebuttal means but Ill give it a shot: Runaan's hurricane grants nothing except AS and 2 bonus 50%AD+on-hit attacks each AA. These bonus attacks require the enemies to be within a certain reach, which is pretty small in comparison to Caitlyns range. Even if the range would be as big, it still would require to have 3 enemies within a certain range of Caitlyn at all times, which simply is not the case.
Now, thats just general, concerning ADC's, a standard optimal ADC build consists of:
Berserkers greaves, infinity edge, 1 lifesteal item (BotRK or BT), 1 crit+AS item (Phantom dancer, trinity force or statikk shiv), last whisper and 1 defense item (depending on the situation).
This build grants everything an ADC needs, high AD, high AS, minor survival and very importantly: crit. If you were to pick Runaans it would have to replace one of the 6 items. The only one that might be comparable to runaans is the crit+AS, but that would mean you would lose the crit you would normally get from other items. This means you will have to sacrifice quite some damage in order to get a non-optimal item. It just isn't worth it :P
