Max a spell by levels 9, 13 and 18.
Replace barrier
Change runes around
* Scaling mana regen is good theoretically but not when you consider what you're actually giving up for it. Health (or scaling health) is a far better option for laning, especially since Kog'Maw is such a squishy champion
* Heal > Barrier
* On that note, Cleanse is a good thing to consider since AP kog pretty much means that if you get caught, you die. Cleanse is good to avoid getting caught at all.
* If you start with Faerie Charm, you should consider going 4 hp pots, 2 mana pots and 1 ward. You don't need the two wards early on at all.
* Kog'Maw is an AA-champion so get hybrid pen marks over magic pen. It amplifies your early game massively. Movespeed quints are good to consider as well.
* Consider Rylai's. It pretty much means you can chase so much more effectively with ultimates.
I agree with some of your tips, such as treating Seraphs as core, because, frankly, it is! And since the Lich Bane nerfs, it has been moved to the outskirts and is no longer the strongest option on AP Kog'Maw. I beg to differ before the nerf, as it worked with my play-style of him, but yeah that's that. PERCENTAGE movespeed > +3 mana regen "gets you up to character baseline level 1 movespeed, its underestimated :D.

1. Seraphs embrace is core, treat it as such.

4. Saying mana is really really important for Kogmaw, takes

Some explanations issues, some build issues, yadayadayada. Your item section and ability section desperately need to improve. Item section is just missing too many items and ability section is just a list of tips. You can do better than this, so do so.

As for the matchups section, I'm adding them in as I play them, since I can't remember off the top of my head as I'm not playing too much as my workload increases.... Chemical engineering is hard work!
