He set different hotkeys, so I was focused on changing them in the first minute and a bit (I was still making sure the hotkeys were what I wanted when blue spawned). I'm also pretty sure his keyboard and keys are bigger than mine as well, felt pretty cluncky to react. The game didn't go well, either way. The enemy's jungle [[volibear]] was all over me, stealing my red before I even got there. He got off more ganks and every lane was just not doing well in general, and it seems like I was never in a position to help. I'd be at wraiths and botlane would die, or I'd be at wolves and our midlaner gets bursted by [[leblanc]]. Blame game starts and the whole team loses focus. Second game was mid [[ziggs]]. I was laning against an [[Akali]], so I knew I'd probably get dumpstered post-6 if I wasn't careful. So I played aggressive from 1-6, knowing it'd force their jungler to me. I was pretty well warded, so jungle [[jax]] never got one on me during laning. I out-CSed [[akali]] pretty hard and got her tower pretty early on when I forced her to recall, but once she hit 6, things evened out and she also picked up 2 kills on me. I didn't get any kills during laning, because I couldn't needlessly waste my mana, but I racked up some assists from the side lanes. Once [[akali]] hit 6, I just played the siege/anti-siege game. Kept all lanes depushed and the enemy lanes under pressure. Our teamfight came together and we won the game, despite [[warwick]] getting fed on [[gangplank]]. Third game I defaulted to [[leona]]. I had just taken some time to relax with some normal games and ARAM, so I wasn't feeling confident in any role other than support. As second pick, I secured [[leona]]. I was blessed with a very good [[tristana]] who I could safely get through laning phase, who then proceeded to be able to 1v2 the enemy botlane once she got [[blade of the ruined king]]. Apparently she was smurfing and to be honest, I can believe her. But she had lagging problems, so it kinda evened out in terms of the advantage, lol. Not much to be said. Kept the enemy [[katarina]] as the focus, so she couldn't get [[death lotus]], I was tankier than enemy [[amumu]] and we just had the better teamfight with [[elise]] and [[tristana]]. Fourth game was weird. My friend managed to get the [[vi]] pick which he will genuinely rage if he does not get (I just want to smack him, sometimes). Then we had a [[pantheon]] top who built some weird-ass items - started [[hunter's machete]], built a [[spirit of the ancient golem]] and then a [[frozen mallet]]. I picked up [[leona]] again and I had a whiny ass [[ashe]] who I had to mute (and even then she constantly pinged), who could not engage for shit and just continuously died. Luckily, I was strong enough as [[leona]] to be able to clean up her shitty messes. Our [[xerath]] was also very good (8/1 at the end of laning phase through lane domination, roams and invades), so that played a strong factor in carrying us through the game. If my friend could get an ultimate off, I could get my spell rotation off and [[xerath]] could essentially annihilate the enemy team by himself. [[pantheon]] made some good roams with his ultimate, but he could never really get any kills (that weird itemization). I never saw much of [[ashe]] outside of laning, tbh. I think she picked up some stray kills here and there, but I'm not really sure. All I know is that she rushed [[statikk shiv]] first.[/quote]

It was honestly just a bunch of champs who could solo the enemy team to good success. Combine together with my [[leona]] pick and we just have a 5-man kill squad. [[thresh]] - loss. Me and my duoq partner was experimenting with a WeiXiao botlane composition - [[thresh]] and [[xin zhao]]. We dominated our lane, but all other lanes and their jungler got fed for each advantage we took. Enemy [[udyr]] eventually came to our lane and succeeded in scoring kills after his 3rd gank bot. Since we were lacking a ranged ADC, we had trouble sieging and doing teamfights. Eventually got closed out because our team literally just got stomped everywhere else on the map. [[annie]] - win. Took longer than it should have, but dominating our lane had little impact as, again, the rest of the map either lost or only went even. Game consisted of scattered fights everywhere and objectives going back and forth. The deciding factor was when we caught out the enemy [[blitzcrank]] and [[pantheon]], leading to a premature initiate for the enemy team, which was ill-executed and ended with an Ace against them. Me and my duo partner were both on our promotion games (his for Silver II and mine for Gold V). After seeing [url=http://imgur.com/a/P54gJ]this conversation[/url], we really wanted to try something on there for some time, but never really got the chance to. Well, we finally got the chance! And boy, it was a sight to see. His first time [[lulu]] and my first time [[soraka]] in ranked since Season 2. Got double kill first blood at level 2, took enemy tower just after 7 minutes - completely dominated our lane. It was a pity that every other lane + jungle wasn't doing so hot in comparison, so the game was harder than it needed to be. Failed my invade and got counterganked for First Blood. We failed a bit early game - [[irelia]] fed [[renekton]] four kills and bot fed [[draven]] early kills, but got off some picks here and there and eventually came to the teamfight where [[katarina]] got a penta-kill.
