Nerubian Egg has too much HP to get rid of easily and would require some kind of effective self-damaging spell or minion to be any good.
I guess giving it taunt works, but that requires "input" from the opponent and is because of that more unreliable in its nature.
It has potential, but without the right combos it's not gonna get far.

Giving it an AD boost works like inner rage or abusive sergeant.
