If you have the advantage of ambush on your side, and you know you can burst them quick, activate youmuu's while running out of brush to close distance quickly and then just proceed to ult and blow them ult. If you lack damage use youmuu's AFTER you ult as it gives more time to actually use the attk speed buff. Youmuu's is also great for just running away from people just before you turn and kill them.

So, just tried rushing Youmou's and IE for my first two items. Ended up going 14/2. Also, I bought two doran's blades in lane and I believe it helped quite a bit. But yeah...the Youmou's + Infinity Edge is DESTRUCTIVE. So much crit and atk speed, and SO much AD for the shurikans. The damage potential between abilities and autos is just, really nice.

Dorans Shield used to be the optimal start on Zed but after nerfs to the amount of hp given and the health regen, it's not as good. If you really feel threatened start two rejuv beads. They build into your tiamat and allow you to get 3 health pots.

Wouldn't Doran's Shield be another good starting item? It gives good sustain.

Not explaining the items and not giving any defensive options is a huge minus. Besides wouldn't Infinity Edge be good considering the crit chance you get from Youmuu's Ghostblade?(one crit could be enough for you to kill them).

Thnx, good luck with the Zed Guide.

Edit: I meant good luck with the guide, might have been a little weird before so clearing that up now.

Mmm you're right. I'm not very good at coding, so I might have to learn a bit more. You're also right about alternative build paths and spells. I'll get to adding more when I can. Thanks for the help. Nice guide btw :P

Try adding more coding to make the guide look a lot neater and aesthetically appealing.

For items you might want to add in some defensive alternatives considering the high risk style of Zed. Items like Mercury's Treads, Maw of Malmortius, Banshee's Veil, etc.

Elaborate on the spells, there are so many cool things you can do with Zed, and so many uses for his skills so it would help if you went into details about them.
