Aye, post something. Even if you are bad at it right now, if you're interested in signature making you can improve easily. You'd be surprised how much a bit of practice can help you. I don't have any of my old signatures at my disposal but I assure you my first hundred looked like trash.

yea, inverting the colors instantly ups the creepy factor, I guess xD so gotta make sure that it, well, works for it to look creepy.
I think the fact that the filter used doesn't completely invert the colors also helps in this case, some of the original colors peek through in a few places because it's a cloud texture over the top of the image that inverts the colors where it's the most opaque.

The design most certainly improved.
I feel like it would behoove you to look into the rule of thirds, though. The Vel'Koz signature inadvertently demonstrates its use and impact in presentation well.
