Making new Meta's 24/7 this week. Studying does...

Recently I had the urge to have alot of fun games, so I just went into blind/draft pick and played champions on the weirdest spots. Some where already frequently seen but others where just utterly stupid.

I actualy was shoked by these champions:

-Support ashe ( wait for the crit and stack a ToG )
-Jungle kogmaw ( his slow is ... op? -)
-Double mage top ( u trying to gank us? here u go 1.200 burst on your head at level 4... )
-Full support team ( dominate early game ... push mid at lvl 6-8 ... heal more then a full team and turrets can hit/.... )

For those people who have tried one of these above let me know what your experience was, I am aware that some of these are situational but they are defenetly worth trying if you want to have a laugh!!!

In Defence of Skins

I've been witnessing a lot of smack talk in-round lately, whenever someone choosing to use a skin on their champion makes a single wrong move.

I have to wonder - would the same comments get made, if the player were not using the skin?

I'm a fan of changing the look of my champs. I main Riven and Irelia and have preferred skins for both. I've made an investment in the champion, and paid myself back by choosing how the champion looks under my command. While skins don't change the mechanics of a champion, they do change the feel, and feel means a lot.

Hot Teen Guys' SoloQ AD Carry Tier List!

So - a little background on me (The list's below. You can pass up this part if you want):

I had been maining old Sivir through all of S1 and made gold with her. This actually caused people to ask me to stream and I did, and it became semi-popular back then (was on the solomid list just through having 160ish viewers). More recently, the thought of becoming a bit more of a competitive player hopped into my head. I talked to my only friend who I really thought might be interested in competitive play and had the skills for it. We sort of settled on me practicing AD carries till I was at the very least competent with all of them, but good with a few. Later, when we made the team, I'd just fill the AD carry/support roles as needed.

Since this and since season 2, I had a rise in ELO (though currently in a slump playing supports. :P) and I've actually been seen by a select few of you mobafire goers on high elo streams like Dan Dinh's, Elementz (He was nice to me today. Said I played s…

My gaming history :3

So, let me think.

When I was about 7 years old, I got Pokemon Yellow for Christmas (1999). It was pretty much the first game I ever got, as before that I mainly played hockey with my friends as I recall, and read books. Did I ever play that game tons though, was one of my most played games along with Pokemon Blue, which I got later. It's one of the games that got me into Pokemon, for sure. (I used to watch the tv show back then too, as well as I watched the first movie when it came out).

The next game I got I believe was again for the Gameboy, and it was called Dragon Warrior Monsters. It was an incredible game that originated in Japan and was a little bit like Pokemon (part of it's appeal to me I imagine). It revolved around having 3 'monsters' in your party, and traveling through a medieval kingdom with them, fighting other monsters. It had some of the best graphics a gameboy game has had back then. It's almost completely unknown though.

I got a PS2 when it came out, and started p…

Champ Enjoyment VS Champ Performance

Alright, this is something I was thinking about the other day. Naturally, you would think it's natural to be good at playing champions you enjoy because you play them and put more thought into them naturally. I fortunately obey this principle, I just so happen to love the game play and design of every champion I play well.

I have friends on the other hand that definitely do not. I have one that loves a number of champions that he can't play at all, and numerous that are really good with champions that they just don't want to play at all.

So Mobafire, what are your thoughts/experiences with this???

My Gaming History

Morning MobaFire :) I was too busy the last few days to jump on the "My Gaming History" bandwagon, but today I am completely free to do what I want, and I felt the need to write a whole lot of stuff no one would ever read, so here I am :D

My First Blog

I'm new here to mobafire and, I've been thinking about writing a blog weekly. I guess just to "document" what champion I'm playing at the time, what I like about the champion and what not.

I guess the whole reason I want to start this is to get to know some people and find some new friends. I think that could be good Right?

So, lets start my first blog with more about me.

I'm a female, and I'm 21 years old. (I'm sure you've read my profile.) Please call me Bree! I rent a room out of my cousin's house with my fiancee. I own two cats (Jayduh and Demi), and a dog, but.. I live with four cats, two dogs, a snake, two tarantulas, a HUGE bull frog, and a chameleon. I have 0 kids, and I work at a self storage place. Due to my work environment I am able to spend my down time on LoL, so you can say I play a lot! I like to play around in photo shop, I used to be serious about it but.. not anymore.

For my start on MF, I've made my first "guide" on Ahri. You can find it Here. It is a littl…
