Spellshield is very aggravating. She should almost always be your ban, because her kit is a direct counter to yours, because her root (Which travels the whole lane basically) is insane, and her Black Shield prevents your Pull and Stun from doing anything, as well as the Slow from your Q tap.

Soraka

Her healing is a direct counter to your execute, because if you try and execute someone she will immediately use her ult to heal them out of your execute range.

Nautilus

Extreme

His hook is a mistake of Riot to keep in their game. It covers the whole lane and travels faster than yours, so you should ban Nautilus, if you can't outplay him.

Alistar

Just avoid being CC'd by him, because if you are, you've basically already died.

Janna

Major

Janna will shield her ADC against damage, and she will peel hard for them, so you can't chase them.

Blitzcrank

Major

His hook is a lot better than yours because it's faster and has no channel time, and you must use your E AFTER he uses his airborne.

Nami

Major

Nami will literally kick your rear with her ADC, because her kit is almost a counter to yours. Try to solo her out after you kill her ADC.

Leona

Major

If you get hit by her CC combo to hell, you are extremely dead. Just try to not get caught by her engage.

Sion

Major

Too tanky for you to really kill, unless you have a good kite with your ADC.

Lulu

Major

Just run away. It's not worth the frustration to try and kill her.

Thresh

Even

This is a skill-based matchup, because his engage is better, and he's tankier, but your engage is safer and up more often, as well as you doing more damage.

Sona

Even

Her heals counter your damage until your cooldowns take over, and then she'll probably all in you with her ADC.

Taric

Even

He's very annoying to play against as Pyke, but so long as you can land your Q + E + AA combo, he'll start to run away, with enough time for you to Q him again and get a kill or assist.

Brand

Minor

It's a pretty simple matchup for you. You just need to not take too much poke, and just all in him if he misses his skillshots.

Yuumi

Minor

This annoying support is relatively easy to deal with by herself, but when she attaches to her ADC it becomes a matter of how much health you'll have left after you kill the ADC.

Lux

Tiny

You just need to wait for her to slip up, and then you can hook and stun for the easy kill.

Draven

Ideal

Probably the best synergy with Pyke due to their strong early and late game, both being semi lane bullies.

Varus

His extremely high burst damage allows for excellent burst combos, as well as his rooting ultimate setting up some easy kills.

Ezreal

Ideal

A self-sufficient marksman, try to stun them so Ezreal can proc his extra damage.

Jinx

Ideal

Her high damage output combined with Pyke's ability to pull enemies into her root traps is an incredible combination.

Twitch

Ideal

You get to be the sneakiest bois in the whole game, stealthing around the map, and if Pyke's burst and CC doesn't kill them, Twitch's DoT will certainly secure a kill.

Lucian

Ideal

Lucian's aggressive, high damage strategy is perfect with Pyke, as Pyke's abilities revolve around him making opportunities for him and his teammates.

Aphelios

Strong

It sort of depends on how good your Aphelios is, but he can land some ridiculous damage if he has the correct guns out at the right time.

Miss Fortune

Strong

Pyke's CC allows for Miss Fortune to deal devastating damage with her auto-attacks, abilities, and (honestly ridiculous) ultimate.

Morgana

Strong

So, if you are duo-queueing then have your ADC go Morgana, because her Root and Spellshield are some of the most annoying things in the Bottom lane.

Brand

Strong

Brand is currently meta, and his damage and abilities go well with Pyke's, as well as Pyke's ultimate ability taking advantage of Brand's high damage output.
