Threats & Synergies
Buy bramble vest and you'll instantly win this fight by just autoattacking, just delay your Q+W spells after you apply the third mark so she does not riposte them.
Camille can be annoying by poking you down and taking short trades, but at level 1-2, and after you get tabis+bamis you win.
Vladimir is not hard to lane against, but you cannot really punish him, so he will eventually scale for free and become an extreme danger in the late-game. Buy Locket + Redemption and try to save your carries.
You do not beat jax in the mid-late, so fight for the advantage at 1-2 as your passive will outdamage him easily.
Ornn scales naturally by giving gold to his team, but he cannot do much to you as long as you buy mercury treads + spirit visage.
You won't beat him in lane, as he will outsustain you and scale, and he can all-in you rather easily with his large amounts of cc. However, Cho'gath is easily gankable, so get your jungler ahead.
At level 11, Tahm's ult has massive range and you can match TF, turning a recall into a 5man bot, by you bringing the jungler, all within 10 seconds.
Speed, slows, stuns, together with Zilean, Tahm will enable any of your carries to win the teamfights very easily.
Champion Build Guide
Hello! I'm Rank 1 Idiot. I play toplane on the EUW server between Diamond 4 and Diamond 2 in season 10, jumping up and down :)
I've played a lot of top lane ever since starting before pre-season 1.
I am usually playing any of the following champions in toplane;
Malphite, Gnar, Sion, Kayle, Darius, Jax, Udyr, Nasus, Yone, Tahm Kench, Lissandra.
Now that that's out of the way and you can see i'm atleast diamond by the verification system of Mobafire, on to the playstyle of Tahm Kench, the most brutal first blood champion in the top lane.
Roaming capabilities with ultimate
Extreme early game damage
Immobile, Easily gankable
Weak lane if equal post 6
Not a meta fit, as usually you find carries in toplane during this season
Tahm Kench absolutely dominates any and all early game matchup with his passive & Hail of Blades, plus heavy base damages on his Q and W abilities. Pick him to stop toplaners from becoming strong, and as a peeler/support during the mid-lategame with some damage.
Abuse your passive to win lanes, prioritize farming, roaming at 6 for ultimate ganks, and help your jungler invade/contest anything to win the game by being ahead.
Press your advantage from the very start, as you win any trade at level 1-2, use Q when they have 3 stacks from your passive, not your W.
Poke the enemy laner down early, so you can go contest crab with your jungler, even winning the 2v2 if enemy midlaner/toplaner decides to show up.
As soon as you hit 6, shove your wave in, recall and buy whatever you can, walk towards your topside jungle and see if you can teleport behind the enemy midlaner to either force a flash or a kill.
Ask your jungler to prioritize herald, as you will win nearly any 2v2, and you can use Herald to keep a strong lead. Leave your lane to gank with ultimate any time it is up, by asking your jungler or midlaner to cover your lane temporarily.
If your jungler is in botside, you can quickly take crabs by using your W as it does % Max health damage. This will grant you ~100g & vision for free.
After laning phase comes to an end, you should prioritize going towards items such as Locket of the Iron Solari or Knight's Vow to become a meatshield for your team.
During mid-late, your goal is to peel your carries, set up collapses on enemies splitpushing by using your ultimate, provide vision and vision denial, and bodyblocking enemies off of objectives such as baron/dragon, as with Warmog's Armor & Tahm Kench's E ability, youll be extremely hard to push off of objectives.
Prioritize peeling for your carries above all during lategame fights, as your damage will have fallen off, even if you have titanic hydra to burst assassins with.
Even if you cannot fight other splitpushers such as Fiora, Camille or Jax, you can oneshot waves with Sunfire Cape + Titanic Hydra, and join your team with your ultimate, as it has massive range at rank 2 (level 11) and onwards.
TL;DR. Stomp laner top early, give jungler priority and build into support items and be a walking turret for your team in lategame. Good luck and don't forget to buy pink wards :)
