Hello! My name is Khada and I'm an ADC main.

If you're reading this then congratulations, you've decided to throw away your self respect and play one of the most broken champions in League Of Legends. Samira is one of my favourite champions in the game, only 2nd to Jhin. I have currently played her for over 150K mastery points, and I wanted to make this guide as I believe I have better builds than what is normally run (from my experience). So if you feel like playing Samira, this is the guide for you!

Passive: Daredevil Impulse

Damaging basic attacks and abilities against at least one enemy champion different from the previous damaging hit made against them grants Samira a Style stack for 6 seconds, up to 6 stacks, refreshing on damaging attacks and abilities against enemy champions. The stack count is represented by the grades E, D, C, B, A and S (with E being the lowest and S the highest) to the left of her health bar for Samira herself, and a stack counter underneath the bar that is visible to all units. Samira gains 0−21% bonus movement speed (depending on her style grade).

Also, Samira's basic attacks against targets in 200 range use her blade, becoming non-projectile. Basic attacks on-hit within this range, Blade Whirl, Wild Rush, and the slash and explosives of Flair deal 2−19 (depending on level) (+0.035-0.105% of attack damage levels 1-18) bonus magic damage, increased by 0−100% (depending on target's missing health).

Additionally, Samira's basic attacks against immobilized enemies deal the attack's damage over 6 strikes in 0.5 seconds and knock up the target for 0.5 seconds if they are airborne. This causes her basic attack timer to reset and the attack to become unstoppable. If the target is not within attack range, Samira will quickly dash into it from a certain distance, though not through terrain, and then attack. This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every few seconds.

TL:DR - Hit people with abilities and auto attacks to get ultimate, close range attacks are sword attacks instead, and Samira shoots people fast when they are CC'd.



Q: Flair

Samira fires a shot in the target direction that deals physical damage to the first enemy hit.

If a targetable enemy is in front of Samira at the time of cast, she will instead slash with her blade in a cone, dealing the same damage to enemies hit.

If Flair is cast during Wild Rush Wild Rush, Samira deploys explosives in her wake that detonate upon the end of the dash, dealing the same damage to enemies hit. This can be done while performing Blade Whirl or Inferno Trigger despite Flair being disabled during them.

Flair can critically strike for (25% + 35%) bonus physical damage and will apply Life steal icon.png life steal at 66.6% effectiveness.



W: Blade Whirl

Samira spins her blade over 0.75 seconds, destroying hostile non-Turret projectiles within the area for the duration.

Samira slashes twice during Blade Whirl, each one dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies. The first slash occurs immediately and the second one occurs after the duration.

Samira cannot attack nor cast Flair during Blade Whirl. Casting Inferno Trigger will end Blade Whirl early.



E: Wild Rush

Samira dashes in the direction of the target enemy or structure, dealing magic damage to enemies she passes through. She also gains bonus attack speed for 3 seconds.

Scoring a takedown against an enemy champion within 3 seconds of damaging them resets Wild Rush's cooldown.

Flair and Inferno Trigger can be cast during the dash. Casting Blade Whirl will buffer it to cast at the end of the dash.



R: Inferno Trigger

Samira unleashes a torrent of shots for 2.277 seconds, reducing her movement speed by 30% and rapidly shooting at nearby enemies over 2.013 seconds at sporadic times in 0.2-second intervals each, dealing physical damage with each shot, reduced by 75% against minions.

Each shot can critically strike for (75% + 35%) bonus physical damage and applies life steal at 66.6% effectiveness.

A visible enemy is required to cast this ability, and targets do not have to be visible to be shot at. Style stacks are consumed at the end of the effect.

Samira cannot attack nor cast Flair and Blade Whirl during Inferno Trigger, but she can still move. Inferno Trigger will end prematurely by all forms of cast-inhibiting crowd control as well as disarm.

Starter Items


Doran's Blade is the best starter item for Samira due to your all-in potential with the omnivamp.


You always take one of these.


There is no debate, early game you should take this.


Core


There is no mythic better for Samira than Shieldbow: you should go this every game.


Take Plated vs. a lot of AD champions.


Take Merc's VS. a lot of AP champions, or a lot of CC that will prohibit your engage.



The Collector is becoming less essential because of the higher armor around after the durability patch. You should only be going this item 2nd vs a full squishy team.

OR

The current meta massively advises LDR second instead of The Collector as it has great armor penetration.



You get this item 3rd due to it making you have 60% crit chance, activating its strong passive.


Situational



If you need antiheal, take Mortal Reminder.


If you need magic resistance, Spirit Visage is your best option as it makes you tankier and also increases your lifesteal healing.


If you need cleanse, take Merc Scimitar.


Guardian Angel is always a great option and I usually build it 4th, as it allows you to teamfight twice.


Bloodthirster is an ok option, but I attend to avoid it as one of these 4 items is always better.


DD is a great option VS. Heavy AD comps.
Conqueror is 100% the only and best Samira keystone. The value it gets with healing and damage with your all-in is too good to not use.
Triumph is better over Presence Of Mind due to your ultimate not costing mana anymore, having relatively low mana costs and triumph coming up clutch in teamfight.
Bloodline is the best due to the lifesteal and Last Stand is most affective for turning around fights when you are low.
Last Stand is most affective for turning around fights when you are low.
Revitalize is great to increase your lifesteal healing.



Conditioning is great for extra resistances.

OR

We take Second Wind vs. Poke Lanes to increase sustain.

OR

Bone Plating is great vs. other all-in champions in bot lane.

Flash is essential for most champions, and Samira is no exception. Flash is just an incredibly useful Summoner Spell, and you should ALWAYS take this on Samira.
Best summoner for Samira as it allows you greater chances to win all-ins.
Cleanse is the optimal summoner spell to replace exhaust when you're up against heavy CC champions.
