My user is da cookies man on NA and i just recently hit diamond with nid top. Been a one trick since forever, and I think nid top right now is the best its ever been.

Play with bushes (gives you movement speed because of your passive); your grasp counts as melee when you transform so abuse that. Try to place traps in bushes or wherever you think your opponent will go. Dont forget to use the traps during fights because they can reset your pounce and it oppresses melee champions. Chunk their health with grasp and outheal them with your e, then go in for the kill when they are below 40% ish and ignite them early so they don't heal (if they are a healing character). Try to get any platings you can with demolish.

Key is to dominate your lane first and get your turret before the enemy. Control the rift herald with your jungle and start to influence midlane then bot. Mid game is one of your strongest points especially if you won lane because you can be one of the strongest on the map. The core build is super strong and your runes spike you crazy during the mid game.

If the game truly reaches late game, you're ****ed unless your team can carry you. The most you can do is spear and try to hop on the adc with ignite and blow your entire load on them. However, in high elo and in most games, you almost never get to late game or full build.

Team comp matters with nid top. If your team is super squishy with no cc, then you will probably lose. Nid top has no hard cc and since you build pseudo tanky, your tanky stats not only start to fall off as the game goes on, but they are useless if the entire team is focusing you and no one cc's them and no one else can tank. Try to pick nid top with the proper team comp or dodge when your team comp is ****. I otp nid top so i pick it all games, but if you want to win, try not to get comp diffed in draft.
