Nidalee has been a favorite champ of mine for years and I've always preferred her in lane. This isn't the first time I've played her Support - far from it - but with the addition of Echoes of Helia it changes the game for Nidalee in a big way!

With this build, you can reach 18k+ healing, rivaling the healing of Soraka and surpassing the healing of Sona, Yuumi, Nami etc.

The concept of this build is to take a very fun, unique jungler who already has support capabilities (healing, vision traps, and poke) and take her out of the jungle and into the bot lane.


Nidalee's W Bushwhack is actually a fantastic support tool. It reveals enemies and does just enough damage to sometimes even finish them off, especially with Scorch. An enemy stepping on a trap also grants you 1 stack to Echoes of Helia, which means in the late game you are basically getting stacks for free, since you can scatter 10 traps around the map - and trust me, they WILL be stepped on.

Our main ability here is Primal Surge. It not only heals based off missing health (with Echoes of Helia, Ardent Censer and Revitalize we go way above that) but it also grants both you and your target bonus attack speed for 6 seconds - which is SUPER beneficial to an ADC!

Unfortunately, Primal Surge is a bit weak early. Until level 3 and until you get Tear of the Goddess, your mission is to poke, poke, poke. You don't need to always use Javelin Toss to poke, as it will drain your mana - your AAs suffice as your range is quite long. But, of course, if you see an opportunity for a spear, toss it - just don't spam it.

Don't forget that in cougar form you can help your ADC secure a kill with ease (just like if you were a ganking JG Nidalee) and with Pounce you can get in/out to use Ignite safely. ( Pounce is also great for dodging enemy CC skillshots. i.e. Light Binding)
