in lane, whoever engages first is prone to lose the duel, so let him jump onto you then counterattack, and keep in mind he has really long cooldowns early on.
sometimes alistar players buy full tank items for some ****ing reason, and paired with his ult he'll get quite chonky, so make sure to just skip him during later skirmishes as he's easily ignorable due to not having a real form of cc lockdown.
Amumu
you stat-check him in lane. if he switches target to your carry, go onto him and just kill him since he's not tanky early on (moreso if he brings some weird **** like glacial or conqueror, or goes full ap).
Ashe
if her spacing is dog**** you can just be patient and get an E on her whenever she autoattacks. flash + E on her whenever she overextends.
if she's somewhat good, you can play to outroam and outperform her at skirmishes.
Blitzcrank
you beat the **** out of him if he hooks you lmao.
try to shove in after killing him or his adc, otherwise let the wave push to you to avoid any lucky hook that may get you into their tower.
Bard
bring demolish and farm his platings while he's skirting around the rift cause you can't outroam him, although you destroy him in skirmishes.
Brand
you won't get to him in lane if he's decent tbh. bring second wind and call out for your jungler.
lock him down during skirmishes and teamfights. don't take dumb fights in closed spaces as he excels there.
he'll prob get top damage anyway even if you leave him behind bc champ design lol.
Braum
too much of a niche pick, doesn't even really work well with a high AS adc.
Camille
insane snowball potential. for some reason, she's allowed to have ridiculous windows to invade your jungler or gank your laners.
she won't be much of a matter in lane until she gets bloodsong and finishes eclipse. it'll get hard from there as her empowered Qs will start to hurt badly.
track her movements and ping or even type what she's up to. if she gets a lead, she'll start farming your teammates one by one.
Galio
not a real support can't do anything lmao
Heimerdinger
this little ****er will poke the living hell out of you and your adc, but keep calm.
he's forced to permanently push, so be patient and call out for ganks. flash on him whenever possible.
Janna
engage if she wastes her tornado to poke. R on her to deny her ult.
if she's good none of this is happening tho. she'll abuse you in laning phase, cancel every single one of your engages and outroam you, so play smart.
Karma
nightmare lane.
mantra q will keep you tamed.
if you engage, she'll mantra w and straight up outtank your damage.
mantra e allows her to disengage fights at will (moreso if she combines it with shurelya's).
worth a ban. you rely solely on her mistakes to do something.
Lulu
depends heavily on whether the player's a braindead shield bot or an actual support.
insane peeling and disengage. don't underestimate her poke potential.
you have a window against her early on. otherwise she outscales you in any scenario.
Lux
not that bad as people point her out to be.
get to her whenever she tries to proc her passive and play around her skillshots.
Morgana
not that bad, actually.
you end up outdamaging her black shield in lane. post 6 just jump on a target then ult whoever doesn't have the shield on.
Nami
too much MS, good poke and nice buffs to her allies. outscales the **** out of you. abuse her in early skirmishes or if she overextends in lane; you won't get to her later on.
Nautilus
dog**** champ imo, you beat the **** out of him.
Pantheon
all pantheon support players i've encountered so far are dog**** tbh. still, the champ can't do much against you. watch out for his roams post 6 though.
Poppy
surprisingly ****ing tough! not only she can deny your engages with W and poke with her passive, but her own engage is no ****ing joke either. she can dish some unexpected damage with her Q, and later on she can just flip fights with a good R, so don't underestimate her by any means.
i permaban him just bc he's cringe af tho, but don't do it, he's trash.
Rakan
a good rakan player can be tricky to deal with, and it gets harder if he's paired with xayah.
he's very mobile but quite squishy early on. your best bet is to kill him during skirmishes, as you probably won't get to him in lane.
he'll most likely outshine you in teamfights, so chill out.
Rell
allegedly the matchup's harder than it actually is. you don't hard win against her in lane, but you do win. she'll arrive faster and do better than you at skirmishes, so be smart.
Renata Glasc
only a potential threat later on if an AD champ in her team gets feed. her laning phase is a joke, just watch out for her jungler and don't take dumb engages, as her Q can stop you right away.
Senna
hellish scaling. don't let her get free souls on you in lane and punish if she overextends. focus her early on; if you shut her down she may recover eventually, but it'll be hard.
Seraphine
you have a window against her early on. dodge her Qs. post 6 she may flip the lane and start to shine due to her ult.
deny her and end the game before your team starts to have a hard time outdamaging her shields.
Sona
free lane, but if she's smart she'll just play to scale, and oh boy she outscales the **** out of you. end the game before she carries teamfights by herself.
Soraka
not that good anymore. don't give her free Qs and you're good to go. target her in fights.
Swain
complicated if your adc is stupid. save your ignite for his ult and sidestep his W and E. shut him down early on, otherwise he can snowball and be pretty scary.
Tahm Kench
beautiful champion, but leona is just straight up better. stun him whenever he Ws. if you dodge his Qs he can't do ****, but he'll outduel you eventually.
Taric
scaling monster. target his carry and sidestep his E. he can't really outheal your damage early on, but you'll have to get bramble eventually. you can dissapear his carry before his ult activates.
Thresh
quite annoying. can deny your engage with his flay. you shouldn't be overconfident about tanking his damage either. whoever gets a lead first will most likely snowball the game.
Vel'Koz
not much of a deal tbh, unless you get hit by every single one of his ****ing skillshots i guess.
Xerath
this bastard can be infuriating to play against, but you just have to keep calm. play for objectives and skirmishes, he can't do **** there. his ult reveals his position, so just jump onto him and beat the living **** out of him when he uses it.

one of the worst things you can encounter in this game is a ****ing zilean otp. lowkey broken champ but they can't touch him bc nobody plays it. beat him early on, otherwise prepare for a clown fiesta once he scales, although it's unlikely he can carry the game by himself.

a bit overtuned rn. bring second wind and keep an eye on her mistakes. she's immobile, so an engage on her means flash or a kill. target her in teamfights.
