This guide is what I consider the best build for Tryndamere. It is designed to maximize Tryndamere's damage while at the same time give him many many escape options, and high movement speed. All of these pieces play into Tryndamere's strengths: speed, damage, escape

Tryndamere's main weakness is damage over time spells which tick after he has used his ult and cause him to perish (see: ignite).

Not having a good counter to ignite and other DoTs will make it hard to do well against a competent player/team. Barrier and Mercurial Scimitar are remedies to this problem and are essential to being successful with Tryndamere.

Flash is also useful in conjunction with your spinning slash in order to quickly vacate the area after you have used your ult. A spin + flash + barrier/mercurial scimitar combo almost always insures a hasty escape.

Items:
Infinity Edge: maxamize crit damage
Trinity Force: Although many of TF's stats are wasted on Tryndamere, the 200% damage effect on this makes it worth it, and is critical to getting those giant crits.
Mercurial Scimitar: This item basically renders you immune to ignite
Boots of Mobility: Gives you fast movement to escape or chase down enemy champions
Guardian Angel: this is amazing when used with your ult. Let yourself die, and when you resurrect, pop your ult to surprise your foes.
Maw of Malmortius: This item was made for Tryn and provides additional protection when your health falls low, absorbing ignites or other damage.


Although this guide may seem more unorthodox, its surprisingly fun and works well. I have tried many different builds with life steal, but find this one to work best for me.
