LEAGUE OF DRAVEN:
Draven is, without a doubt, one of the most oppressive ADCs in the early game — he wins nearly every trade and snowballs insanely hard off a single kill. His spinning axes provide constant, explosive damage, and his passive punishes even the smallest of mistakes.
How to play against:
Avoid early fights: You don’t win against him at any point during the laning phase without help. If you must fight, only do it if you’re full HP and have the numbers advantage.
Don’t let him get kills. The difference between a 0/0 Draven and a 1/0 Draven is massive. If he snowballs, the lane is basically over.
Play for farm: Focus on farming safely and keeping the game under control. If he’s not ahead in gold, you’re already doing well.
Trust your scaling: You’re way more useful than him in teamfights mid to late game.
Take smart resets: Close out your early items as soon as possible and come back stronger. Every good reset is a chance to breathe.

Hexplate build
Overall, the goal is to get Experimental Hexplate as quickly as possible to combo with your ultimate. Considering the gold-to-stat value, it’s the best item, plus it reduces your ultimate cooldown. Always focus on fighting when your ultimate is available and enjoy the performance of it to the fullest.
In the last two patches, 25.16 and 25.14, Hexplate, Blade of the Ruined King, and Kraken Slayer got buffed, and they’re now synergizing even better with this build. It’s the perfect moment to test it out and take advantage of it. This build is great to play regardless of the situation.
Items
First Core Item – What to Build and Why
Blade of the Ruined King is ideal for Vayne due to its synergy with basic attacks and on-hit effects. The bonus damage based on the enemy's current health allows her to melt tanks and high-HP champions. Additionally, the lifesteal and attack speed boost her sustain and consistent damage. The passive slow effect helps her kite, letting Vayne keep her distance from melee threats.
While Blade of the Ruined King is effective against high-health targets, it can be less impactful against enemy comps full of squishy, long-range champions. In such cases, other items might be a better option.
Kraken Slayer is an excellent choice when you need an early power spike in the game. Against squishy champions or in matchups where you can farm and trade safely, the item offers strong and consistent damage from the start. It allows Vayne to apply pressure earlier and capitalize on small advantages.
Although it's not ideal against extremely tanky compositions, Kraken shines in games where you don’t need percent-health damage and want to have an earlier impact in fights.

Guinsoo's Rageblade has become the go-to second item for Vayne due to its strong synergy with her kit. Trinity Force is a very flexible item and is commonly built in Vayne top lane builds focused on split pushing and poking with empowered Qs. However, it can also be a viable option in the bot lane, especially against burst or assassin-heavy comps that can quickly delete you. While it offers less consistent DPS compared to other builds, it provides strong burst damage through Q trades and a more mobile, survivable playstyle overall.
Wit's End as an example because it’s one of the best “flex” or “wild card” items for Vayne — it gives you both attack speed and magic resistance, making it a great defensive option. It’s especially strong as a second item when facing a full AP enemy or a heavy magic damage threat. The same logic applies if you're against a full AD comp, where you’d consider defensive items like Randuin's or Shieldbow. But unless you really need that extra survivability, it's almost always better to stick with Guinsoo’s Rageblade as your second item to maximize damage and synergy with Vayne’s kit.

Night Hunter (Passive): gains 30 bonus movement speed while facing a nearby visible enemy champion, increased to 90 while under the effects of ability Final Hour.
Tumble (Q)
VayneTumble, maneuvering to carefully place her next shot. She rolls toward the cursor and her next attack deals 75 / 85 / 95 / 105 / 115% (+50% of ability power) bonus physical damage. This bonus damage is not increased if the attack critically strikes.
Silver Bolts (W)
Vayne tips her bolts with a rare metal, toxic to evil things. The third consecutive attack or ability against the same target will deal 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10% of the target's maximum health as bonus true damage (Max damage vs. monsters is capped at 200).
Vayne draws a heavy crossbow from her back, and fires a huge bolt at her target, dealing 50 / 85 / 120 / 155 / 190 (+0.5 per bonus attack damage) physical damage and knocking them back (900 units). If they collide with terrain, they are impaled, dealing 150% of Condemn's initial damage again and stunning them for 1.5 seconds.
