General Support Tips
General Support tips
-Learn Timings, being where your suppposed to be when your supposed to be is 30% of this game. These are timings that have helped me improve my game.
- An efficient full clear jungler should be in the bot Tri-bush about a few seconds after 3 min. Make sure to have it warded at 3 min or do not walk up to pressure.
- You can wander to grubs when they first spawn to help but it puts your adc in a very vulnerable position. I recomend stayin bot 90% of games for this obj. If their support roams to help make sure to punish the enemy adc, preferably with a kill. If you need to die for the kill then its worth. Your adc will get more xp and more gold while other teams adc will lose SOLO xp and gold. This can translate into prio on drag and level 6 first.
- At 14 min you should be mid. Plating has fallen and You need to be there to help with herald/counter ganking mid.
- For objectives, especially dragons, it helps the team to have wards down 1 min before objective. This will also give you time to back and refresh wards and be there for the teamfights.
-One other tip for early laning is to try to always leave fountain with a pink ward. What will happen is when you back your pink in tri bush will get cleared. But if you have a pink on every back you can place it right back. Thankyou to the Janna support I played against that showed me how annoying this strategy is in keeping the bush clear of wards.

Abilities
Bravado
Passive~ After casting an ability, Taric's next two basic attacks within 4 seconds each gain 100% total attack speed, deal 22 - 90 (based on level) (+ 15% bonus armor) bonus magic damage and reduce the cooldowns of his basic abilities by 1 - 0.55 (based on cooldown reduction) seconds, increased to 6 - 3.3 (based on cooldown reduction) seconds for Starlight's Touch's recharge time.
Stategy
His passive is a vital part to his build. Idealy you want to AA+AA after using an ability. Idealy the enemy chamion if your in range. The CoolDown reduction from this attack is more important than the damage. Ultimately it comes down to what you can AA the easiest. Sitting in the dragon pit AAing the dragon to get your passive off can be more beneficial for your team than chasing a champion that you may or may not be able to hit.
Starlight's Touch
Passive: Taric stores a charge of Starlight's Touch periodically, up to a maximum of 3 at once. Starlight's Touch cannot be cast without charges.
Active: Taric heals himself and all nearby allied champions, with the amount increasing with every stored charge at the time of cast.
Stategy
You want to make full use of your passive with this ability. 2 AA will give you 2 charges in your Q after use. Do not use your Q too often at low levels as spam will quickly deplete your mana. I find it best to stop using heals when your about 100 mana. If your under tower trying to survive then go ahead and heal your adc. But you wont have any mana for a stun if you spam it. You may also want to add a level to 3 early rather than your 2cnd level in stun if you have no value in leveling stun.
Bastion
Passive: Taric and his Bastion-marked champion gain bonus armor shielding them for 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 12% of their maximum Health for 2.5 seconds
Stategy
This is really goood at minimizing small amount of damage on the adc early, even from minions! And it scales into late game. A general strategy for this in a teamfight is to keep W on your tanky front line if your in the back or your ADC back line if your in the front. Your W + spell rotation works really well on champions like Urgot, Sejunai, Reksai, and Pantheon.
Dazzle
Active: Taric projects a beam of starlight towards the target location, erupting after a 1 second delay, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit and Stun icon stunning them.
Stategy
Get used to E+Flash.
Cosmic Radiance
Active: After a 2.5 seconds delay, cosmic energy descends upon Taric and all nearby allied champions, granting them invulnerability for 2.5 seconds upon impact.
Stategy
This is one of the best ults in the game. But it has a long CD, and can be kited. Also it might not save your adc in time from assasinss. Idealy you want a teamfight to happen when your team has your ult proc and you are right on top of the enemy. You can also use your ult to finish turrets.
If your ult saves a teamate or enable your team to make a play then it is a good use. Otherwise it is better to save it. Because your ult is only going to be up every other fight till the lategame.

Runes
Glacial
The Glacial Augment rune set is the most powerful rune to take on taric. Makes peeling or disingaging easy. Taking exhaust helps with extending the fight for your adc to do damage. Ghost is a pick if you can avoid cc, really helps land the E stun. you can combo Exhaust into forcing a flash then ghost+stun. Best to use ghost after enemy cc down.
Don't underestimate Ghost+Exhaust. It is a very powerful combo on Taric for catch and play combination.
