In 7.13, the AD split push Kennen build was nerfed, most importantly Runaan's Hurricane no longer synergizes with his W. However, an AP scaling was added to his W, giving players more incentive to build AP on Kennen. With this AP ratio, Kennen can build Nashor's Tooth and AP for an all around stronger champion. This build allows players to have the strengths of split push Kennen but also avoiding his biggest weakness in lower team fighting strength.
