Hi, I'm Naughty Clown and welcome to my Shaco guide. I start playing League of Legends at Season 2. My highest rank is Challenger in solo queue. Every season I focus on 2-3 junglers and keep playing them throughout the season. And this season Shaco is one them.

After rework, I tried shaco and really liked his kit. After repeated nerfs, I kept playing and tried different builds and jungle routes and in the process i gained a lot knowlegde about shaco and how it supposed to be played.

About Shaco

Shaco is an assassin jungler with good clear speed and mind-bending power.

He is also a pretty strong duelist and in early game he can almost kill any jungle due to having ignite. His strong suit is taking solo objectives and unseen ganks. He is not really losing health in jungle which allows him to stay in map for a long time which helps us to gank anytime we want.

Shaco's ultimate Hallucinate can be used in many ways .

It is very easy to take objectives with shaco's ultimate. Also you can use it to bait the enemy into team fights, to escape from different situations, as another manpower in teamfights or to even taking turrets.

Shaco's biggest weakness is once you're in it's very hard to get out.

While playing assassins most of the time you have two options: Kill or to be killed. If you are new to shaco, your number of deaths will be high because shaco is very squishy, require good postioning and knowledge but don't worry once you get comfortable with shaco, you start to read the situation better and that will decrease your number of deaths.

Feel free to pick shaco in any game. His kit fits in most of the scenarios. However you are an assassin and your job is to eliminate enemy carries so you have better chances if these carries are squishes with poor escaping potential.

Mark of Attack Damage

: Provide good auto-attack damage in jungle also when ganking.

Seal of Armor

: You can try health per level or armor per level but if you encounter the enemy jungler during your first clear, flat armors yellows will be the most helpful ones. Also it provides better sustain in jungle.

Glyph of Ability Power

: This one is also have alternatives such as flat or scaling magic resist, or flat cooldown but since the new ap ratio on his passive i always take flat AP blues.

Quint of Attack Speed

: You can take one or two Attack Damage Quints but i really like the clear speed they provide.
