Hi guys! I'm DobbieTheElf, and Ornn is one of my favourite champions in the game along with Akali and Rengar. In this guide, I aim to help you playing Ornn jungle, as in my opinion it is super fun and cool to play (probably not the best in ranked however).

REMEMBER THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, YOU DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW THIS GUIDE AT ALL. BUILD SPELLTHIEF FIRST ITEM IF YOU WANT!

So recently XP gain in the jungle has been reduced by a fair amount, meaning carry jungles such as Kha'Zix are a lot less effective than they used to be. The most popular junglers at the moment are junglers like Nunu & Willump and Ivern as they have low reliance on experience to be effective. Ornn comes under this category, as he is a tank that is item reliant. Also, Ornn has 3 AoE abilities that have great synergy with each other, meaning he can clear jungle camps very effectivly. But then there is something about Ornn that is not seen on any other champion in the game; his ability to never back for anything. His passive allows Ornn to forge items when he is in the middle of the jungle, meaning he never has to back if he doesn't come into contact with the enemy and get reduced below half health. His farming is absolutely insane, and he can get item leads on his jungler very easily. This means that on paper, Ornn should be very effective.

As Ornn jungle, you should start blue, as you are a tank and don't need the sustain from red buff, and you are very mana hungry. From BLue, clear your Gromp, and then go into Scuttle. Make sure to cc the Scuttle with your Q as soon as you can, so you break it's defences and deal more damage. Against most camps you should aim to Q slow all of the monsters, W them all, hit your brittle on as many of the monsters as you can, and then E into your Q spike. Late game this rotation can clear full camps if you do it properly. Against Red and Blue buff, once you hit your knockup, use the time the buff is airborne to kite away from it to take less damage. Try and weave in autos between each ability, so Q -> Auto -> W -> Auto, for more damage, pretty much for free. Remember to auto to proc the brittle on monsters, so you have more damage.

Ganking on Ornn is pretty good for a tank jungler. Because of the amount of CC he has, you can quite easily lock down kills, especially post level 6. If you gank before you have your ult, or when you don't have it, try and land a Q and then knockup with your E. Normally because of the slow you can knock them up with the pillar, but if they are near a wall go for that instead because it is much safer. Once you have knocked them up, W them and stay near them beacause by this time your afteshock shouldve procced. Then, just make sure your laner follows up with damage.

This guide is just a quick one i typed out to help some of you lot. I plan on making a full Ornn guide on Top, Support and Jungle at some point in the future, sow watch out for that.
