Introduction

Hi. I'm a high elo yasuo main with fair success with him, and I have peaked at Diamond 2, mostly with Yasuo. He is a very useful champion to learn how to play to climb elo.

This guide will not focus on runes and masteries because they really depend on the situation.

Skill Sequence

We start E first against ranged matchups, like Cassiopeia, Veigar, etc. We start Q against melee matchups like Zed. You should learn W at level 3 just for safe measure, but if you are positive you are not going to get ganked you could put an extra point into E. Obviously level up your ultimate when you can.

Pros / Cons

Yasuo has many pros and cons.

Pros: Great late game
High mobility
High burst damage
Good crowd control

Cons: High skillcap
not great early game

Farming

Farming as Yasuo is fairly easy. Use your Q and E to get creepwaves, throwing your tornado for poke. Yasuo has one of the highest waveclear potentials in the game, allowing you to easily wipe out an entire wave.
