This is my first Akali build, so please, be as critical as you want, I need to learn how to make things better in my builds, so please help me out here.

Akali, The Fist of Shadow. The assassin from afar. In this guide I will attempt to teach you how to burst down even the tankiest campions and how to truly be The Fist of Shadow. This build will get the enemy really annoyed at how quickly you kill them and seem to not lose any health, in fact, it may even seem as if you are GAINING health.

These runes are must haves so you can obtain both your passives at the start of the game.
With only 10 AD, you get Discipline of Might. you have 8% Spell Vamp instantly, and that's nothing to be mocking, especially with your Mark of the Assassin. But I'll talk about that later in the build. And the Spell Vamp is only the beginning of Akali's Passive activation with these runes. The spell vamp is only the first activation. There is another part of her passive that is easily overlooked. Her Discipline of Force gives you an extra 8% BONUS Magic Damage on ALL of your Auto Attacks on obtaining 20 AP. Both of these passives increase on obtaining more AP and AD respectively, but I'll talk about all that in the Skill Sequence section.




So these runes really help you to obtain a HUGE advantage over the other champions in game at level one and all the way through the game.

These masteries were chosen to max out your damage and the extra acquired damage

Exhaust is picked for catching your enemies, running from ganks or getting to ganks of your own. Exhaust slows movement speed by 40% and reduces auto/basic attack damage by 70% and ability/item damage by 35% for 2.5 seconds.

Ignite is picked to add that extra bit of damage that might be needed to kill the enemy champion. Ignite targets a single champion dealing 50 + (lvl x 20) true damage over 5 seconds. Also reduces the target’s healing and regeneration by 50%.

I usually start with Boots of Speed so I have that little bit of extraspeeed to be able to avoid those pesky Nidalee Javelin Toss's, I also grab 3 Health Potions for laning for longer to get precious experience and gold. I then finish of my {icon=Sorcerer's Shoes size=32] Sorcerer's Shoes for the Magic Penetration. I then get a Hextech Gunblade for all the spell vamp and lifesteal, starting with the Hextech Revolver for the extra spell vamp earlier. After that a Sheen is a MUST have simply for the amount of damage you will be doing with the on hit effect.The next thing I get a Rylai's Crystal Scepter for the survivabilty and the slow you get from your on hit effects, which works great with Shadow Dance and Mark of the Assassin. After that, i finish my Lich Bane, allot of people say it is a waste of money because Akali doesn't use mana, the on hit effect and the ability power are just amazing. Now, to finish my build, i get possibly the best AP nuke item, Rabadons Deathcap for the 140 AP plus the 30% extra, and after all the other ability power items, you will have 393 ability power, imagine that with your passive, ALOT of extra magic damage to add to your nuke. Now to finish the build I pick up an Abyssal Scepter for the magic resist and spell pen, and the added 70 AP boosts you to 463 AP with the Rabadon's Death cap
