Hi hi, it's Ms_Clair! I'm a platinumn support main and a janna lover though i've played and have mastery 7 on every enchantress support. I love janna but i feel like she's lack luster especially when compared to others with her utiliy sometimes. I felt that the main issue was that going moonstone first wasn't effective and that janna generally doesn't utilize mythics well. Since their passive is reliant on the number of legendary items you have and the shield/heal increase from moonstone is based on combat time, i felt her healing and shielding wasn't consistently helpful. Therefore i felt as though getting mythic later on into the game and getting the healing/shielding stat increase from other items was more vital for my early-mid presence.

In my opinion, the items for enchantresses to choose from right now are pretty terrible due to the blantant lack of variation in the items. I feel like the varity in heal/shield decreasing items in other roles just cut you down more. As i previously stated the healing and shielding is already lack luster to begin with. I also feel like theres so much damage in the game that even tanks can burst you down sometimes. Janna and other enchantresses are too squishy and often times cant save themselves. Janna is also in a position where her sheild is a high cooldown and she needs to land spells to lower it. Ontop of that her shield fades over a period of time. What im saying is that i think it's too crucial to have a strong consistant shield for myself AND my teammates to survive.

The mythics aren't as powerful on janna and feel like another legendary item in my opinion. Lulu gains a massive spike from purchasing moonstone earlier. Soraka can utlize shurelyas and moonstone extremely well. But what about janna? Everygame i've gotten mythic first i felt i could have provided more. However the early spike i get especially with ardent's passive feels so much better and reliable to me.

Ultimately this is my preference, there are multiple variations of janna builds and im certainly not the first person to not rush mythic first. However i really do enjoy getting the legendary items first and if this finds someone and offers them any success then the time and effort going into this guide would have been worth it.
