No, the three spellblade items Trinity Force, Lich Bane and Iceborn Gauntlet don't proc on the side shots of Runaan's Hurricane, and frankly they'd be damned OP if they did.

There's one situational item worth mentioning - that would be Wit's End, which synergizes with Runaan's Hurricane. One auto attack gives you three stacks of MR instantly. Tested and proven.

I'm not quite the best, so if you guys can help me optimize or whatnot, I'd really appreciate it so I'll do some replies to start discussion :)

@DarkPercy
You bring up a lot of good points.
The main reason I say that Malady falls off is because it's less focused on doing more damage with auto attacks, it's more of popping the stacks for massive damage so an extra 3% HP per 100 AP is better imo.
I wrote it pretty late and yeah, I agree, it was stupid of me to add triforce/FM
For starting items, I think you might be right with boots. I'm still in the hype of "Oh, we can start with something other than boots 3 now!" so I thought of not doing so, but I agree; one of the weaknesses is it's hard to get in range to poke someone who's longer range (ex. Lux)
Skill order, what do you think of maxing e first as a farming skill?

@Bigg Fuddgee, I'm going to test dat right now, that sounds boss.
EDIT: Nope, it doesn't :(

No, even though Spellsword s not a big increase, it's that much increase for only ONE mastery point. A build that focuses on Magic Pen, attack speed and AP... there is no possible way to make that mastery better. Not taking it is like.... not buying boots after 50 minutes I guess... its just stupid.

21/0/9 is a much better mastery tree for a damage dealing oriented build. The utility tree has some nice stuff but no where near as good as the offensive one.

Magic Resist seals suck lol. You should get Armor if you're bot, or scaling mana regen for mid... or even scaling HP for mid if you don't need the mana regen.

You should never start a game with Amplifying Tome. It leaves you squishy and with only one Health Potion. There are much better starting items like Doran's Ring that gives almost as much AP as Amplifying Tome but also gives tons of mana regen and HP (incredibly powerful early game). Boots + 3 Health Potions is also a great start to be able to run away/chase/autoattack more often/have easier time harassing with spells and autoattacks/have easier time dodging harass, and the 3 HP pots are just a god's gift.

oh wow I saw you said you can also start Dagger + 2 potions... That's almost worse lol. Forget it.

Trinity Force and Frozen Mallet should definitely be removed from the build. There aren't even situational, they're just no. lol. Waaaaay too expensive and doesn't really synergize that well with AP Varus in any way... You will do no damage with these items. Let your bruisers get Frozen Mallet.... if they need it..

Ruunan's Hurricane is a very good idea for late game teamfights :D.

Yes W is your main spell on AP varus but maxing it first is bad. It will not make your AP scaling better in any way so there's no reason to max it first. And it deals damage based on the enemy's maximum HP, which means it's only going to be strong late game. You should max Q or E for reduced cooldowns and higher harassing power and better burst because you gain much more damage/rank from Q and E than from W, no matter what your build is.

By the way you said Malady falls off late game which is extremely wrong because Malady is a late game item lol. It does damage based on how much AP you have.

I hope I helped you :D. Upvoted you by the way.

I like your honesty :D, saying that you have no expierence at all with guides making.
And it is true, some minor things could be improved.
The only thing that really bothers me though, is putting pros and cons as one of the last chapters :P

I gave you +1 for originality anyway.
I hope you will improve a lot and become on of the best writers out there ;D
