Hi, thanks for the interesting guide. Wouldn't trinity force be better than LB? The item is just supreme on jax since every stat is just fantastic. And secondly, isn't hextech too late as your 3rd item (not counting boots)? Jax's sustain is terrible without any life steal.
Maybe another remark is that ghost may work fine for you, but flash probably works better for most people, especially since nme cc is Jax's only problem and flash gets you out of range immediately. So maybe you can advise people whichever of these they prefer.
Thx for your feedback.
Why i don't think triforce is better than lichbane on AP Jax: With this build, i am trying to present a different role jax is able to fulfill other than AD Bruiser, Hybrid or Tank. This guide is focusing on AP Jax, which has the (surprisngly working) role of bursting people with magic damage. Don't quote me on this, but i don't think you can switch out LB for TF, because it doesn't give enough AP, which AP Jax can greatly use for his kinda awesome AP scaling. Also, Lichbane's proc outdamages triforce's around mid game, as long as you keep buying AP of course. You'll need the AP and the AP scaling proc for bursting people down, that's the job AP Jax can do, and i don't think triforce with its many, but low stats (and high gold cost) will do that much.
In regards to hextech: No it's not too late. Buying it too soon won't grant you any sustain due you not doing that much AP damage, and as it only procs with AP damage, which you can only apply with your abilities which on the other hand cost mana, it's not worth it to buy that early. Maybe after 6, but still, you can't proc your ult without attacks and having low attackspeed without that ramp up, you'll have a hard time doing so with an enemy laner in the way. Trust me, i tried this when i started playing AP Jax. Some pots early game will do wonders.
And last but not least, yes, i should consider flash being THE mainstream summoner spell and people not being familiar with ghost. I had my troubles with flash on AP Jax though (dat 300 secs cd, sigh).

I'm always into exotic builds like Vel'Koz support and AP carry Malphite, a +1 for me. :D
Thx bra :*

Well, i kinda always safe my trinkets for my jump. I buy real wards like a real old school player

Also, minion waves and allied champions are still a factor, too.
With 300 seconds cooldown, i wouldn't count on flash as a main escape tool.
Ap Jax has his jump and a stun already to shake those poopy junglers off.
And,
210 is also a smaller number then 300 ;)
Guess you'll need to choose for yourself!

Thank you very much for your feedback :)
Here's my reason why i think
- AP Jax needs somekind of sustain to not be forced to constantly backing because of HP issues after small fights. Spellvamp is better on AP Jax than Lifesteal, obviously.
-
- The AD is not lost on Jax, since 2 of your abilities scale on AD and you need autos anyway to dish out your main damage (Same goes with the lifesteal!).
- The other spellvamp item,
- Last but not least, you shouldn't be finishing
I really wouldn't call it "completely useless".
And, yes, this is my first guide evarrr, hence why i'm not good at BBCoding yet...
I'll try to make my guide sweeter soon! :)
