Threats & Synergies
Really Strong in general, he's going to pressure you and deny your CS. Play safe, try to get jg help.
Fairly Even. In a proper all-in he will beat you 1v1, but if you harass him down first you can easily beat him in a fight later.
The MOST lane dominant top laner. Be aware of this. Try to safely harass him and punish for last hits, but be aware he can and will try to utterly destroy you in lane.
This is a fairly skill matchup. Aatrox gets a lot of his damage from Q, so you can use the large aoe on it to predict her movements in her shroud. Otherwise, back off when she pops it and you'll be fine.
Incredibly good at juking in and out of your threat range. You need to harass him and try to punish his last hits. Jax is a monster late-game, so you have to slow his pace so he doesn't get there in time.
Teemo is teemo. However, most of your damage can't be blinded, and he's not got a massive range on you early. He can bully you until level 2, so be aware of that and you'll be fine.
One of Garen's strongest point is that most enemies will OOM trying to shove him out of lane. You don't have that issue. He still hurts a lot in a 1v1 if you're villain, so play around that and you'll crush him.
You need to harass Riven down to make her too scared to fight you due to health difference. In a raw 1v1 she will almost always beat you if she's good, but if she's half hp and you're not you will almost always win.
Very skill-intensive matchup, but moreso on her side. If she disrespects you she can freely walk away, but you also can deny her CS massively if you get a health lead. So do that.
While he can output a lot of damage, he has to deal with yours before he can output it. Play safe until level two, then harass him until he feels unsafe.
Her major slipperyness combined with her crazy dps actually makes her rather difficult to fight. Try to punish her CS, and definitely assume you lose fights if you're both 6.
You're one of very few champions who can actually reliably lethal Sion when he doesn't want it. Bully him, but respect his Q damage.
His lane phase is like yours without as much range or mobility. Fight him outside of his range if you can, and he will be completely unable to retaliate.
Vlad can sustain through your harass quite easily, and is going to be able to match your harass with his own very often. His Q has a sizeable cooldown early, play around that and try to smash him when it's down.
Stopping her lightning fast roams usually means preventing her from being allowed to. Your waveclear is good. Try to hold her in top for fear of losing too much for leaving by shoving waves under turret when she roams.
Your Q can quite reliably kill turrets in the later stages of the game. He's still going to bully you early, but you can win trades if you can bait the grenade out or have taken down some of his turrets.
He's still gonna stack, but you can completely deny him his win condition with your incredible dueling power and range advantage on him. Keep him from stacking safely, try to freeze the lane on him if you can, and the doggo will never see late game.
Incredibly good at negating your damage, as he's very mobile and can completely negate your passive, as well as gaining shields and outputting good damage. Try to harass him down, and you HAVE to dodge the E or he will demolish you in trades.
Can be fairly terrifying, but you can still deny him as much as he can deny you with your ranged harass on q. Refuse to fight him without your passive on deck and/or your possessing a significant health advantage.
He's WAY more mobile than you. However, you have the damage and tankiness to trade back, as well as the ability to force him to respect you. Try to establish a health lead prior to level 3 and you can beat him.
Another even matchup. If you can dodge his E's second hit so he can't get his passive off then you can harass him fairly well as he can be mana gated fairly hard early.
