Basically any champion with abilities which provide large amounts of movement speed counter Brand. Your Q and W become very difficult to hit on an enemy buffed by Zilean's E. If you miss your Q and Zilean uses E on you, there is no escape.

Champion Build Guide

Introduction

Hi! My name is Tatewari and I've been playing league of legends since S3 and started playing Brand 3 seasons ago, currently I have more than 1000 games on Brand in S11. My peak rank this season is Grandmaster 498LP and I got there playing Brand almost exclusively. In the following chapters I will tell you all about my experiences and findings this season, alongside tips and tricks to help you survive and get more kills. Enjoy!

Pro's and Con's

Advantages:
-Strong early poke
-Alot of AOE Damage
-Can carry games when ahead
-Passive synergizes well with items like Rylais, Morello and Lyandrys.

Disadvantages:
-No mobility in kit, easy target for ganks/assasins
-No reliable CC, Q pretty easy to dodge
-No damage output largely reliant on hitting his skillshots to trigger Brand's passive
-Pretty much useless when behind/gold deprived
