These are going to be the things that we are going to be looking through ideally with this review.
STRUCTURE: This is basically how you code, place and use code from a tidy and neat viewpoint.
CONSISTENCY: Basically how often you switch things up. Some parts might be a mess and others great.
INCLUDINGS: These are things that could be added like Runes, Items, Matchups or entire sections.
MY CONCERNS: Things that I find not really interesting to apply to a guide or just filler.
This part of the guide is meant to be as straight forward and to the point as possible. So very little to overwhelm the reader and also a very tidy layout so it is easy to read / gleam instead of having to examine it thoroughly.
You have 7 different runes for a champion that really only benefits from 3-4, that is if you're playing her seriously and not just being a meme then Aery, PTA, HoB primarily would be the go to runes to choose from.
You have no notes on your item section, this gives people looking for a quick reason the information they need. Instead of being told or having to scroll down through the guide to get the information in a sea of text / imagery. Something simple like "Starters" *Notes* "Doran's Ring is great for sustain, poke, blah blah" and general info.
Far be it from me to voice this type of opinion, but I would consider dropping a lot of your items / runes for the sake of simplicity. It's an off-meta meme pick in most cases, and while yes. I understand Yuumi can be played as a Top laner. It's very situational and specifically for a few builds like On-hit and AP burst.
I get what you're going for with this section, but I believe it would serve a better purpose as a actual section in your guide and not in the Build Cheat Sheet category. So definitely consider changing this up if not that's fine.
Nothing much to say here. You've got a lot of information that is neat and tidy to read for the most part.
You have a pretty solid structure all throughout your guide. However, there are many sections where you have icons way too big where they end up becoming blurred, or you have your columns sized a different way causing some sections to be completely off-set to the rest of the content which is very OCD inducing.
The bottom of your guide, if you look through this review, you can see I have everything in a spoilers, the information that will be condensed and used to help people, but not be there as a forced wall of text.
I would highly suggest to use some spoilers here and there.
I'm a little bit confused halfway through your guide.
You use a multi-gradient effect on most of your text in the start of your guide which is nice, not many people utilize BBCODE with gradients these days, but then you suddenly stop half way and go back to basic font colors.
I would heavily suggest that you either keep the gradients all the way through with better colors that are gentle and easy to read or keep it to the basic color all through. Some people may have a hard time reading colors.
Besides this, there is just a lot of inconsistent changes of pace with your overall structure. Some parts are neat and formatted well while others abruptly switch to something more messy or just not much effort put into making it look visually appealing. Then as stated previously some icons are just sized way to large.
A good and frequently used size for icons is size=60-80, so I would suggest keeping most in these ranges.
You have a lot for a reader to work with here. But it's held back by a lot of grammatical errors, visual nitpicks and some desires for reformatting & some flaws. This can be changed by taking my review to heart.
More detail can definitely be put into the guide for sure. But for now I would highly recommend just tidying up the code, making everything consistent and then looking to see what you want your future guide to look like. ~Cat
Send a message to Hadeshu to get some information to him to potentially fix those updates that caused it to bug out, a lot of things have been buggy since the mobile update for sure.
For the messy parts, where exactly do you feel that it's messy, I could try to fix it and make it more neat
Click on the spoiler for the sections I thought were kinda messy / could use a reformat. It's mostly the rune sections.
I was very surprised you didn't talked about it... Until I was at the end of the review...
I didn't talk too much about it because there wasn't or isn't very many grammatical errors or rather, I'm not much of a stickler for grammar, but others may be.
Thanks to have taken of your precious time to review the ****ty Yuumi top guide
My time isn't precious, and guides are not ****ty unless they are specifically trying to make people int or troll their team mates or are just ****posts.
Do you think it looks good? or is it still messy :)
thx

Just report it as a bug or DM directly.
what are your though?
I don't judge guides, since I am just a lowly Teemo main and stuff.
My level of entry would be way to high and would probably be more restricted to people who can use more advanced code and can impress me with visual flair (with code) more so than anything else.
It's possible, but there are a lot of good guide creators to compete with.
I've changed a lot on the guide, made it have a better identity and a better look then before, idk if you want, but I was wondering if you could take a look and do a critic (or positivity) of the direction the guide is going! :)
I would be very happy if you would
thx
It looks better than before, just a few pet peeves from me would be the imagery could be a little bit more spaced and the...
Could be worked on to not feel like a puzzle piece with it's shark edges and smoothened out more.
I'd use a smaller size for images the normal which is 50-70. The bigger the image gets the more blurred out and distorted it becomes.
The bottom section of the guide still looks rather messy, but you can tidy this up with time, a solution would be to shrink their sizes and put them into columns so the reader is not overwhelmed and can see everything without having to scroll, etc.
