Garen will laugh about your Sustain. He just waits for the minion waves and will farm then under his tower. If you try to trade or poke him, he will play passive and just wait for his passive to come up. So you can kill him. Try to farm up and hope you can carry in teamfights.
At six he will just flash on you with Q, E and R. Theres no counterplay and i always ban him.
Malphite
His Ult engage in team fights on the enemy team fits to your playstyle. After he hits his Ult , try to blind everybody and they will panic Flash out of it. If not try to hit Q and maybe your R for low health targets.
