+1 i think U should adjust then when U are turret hugging and youre enemies dive flash behind their backs and open with ultimate so if they run up or down they willl get cought in the ultimate aor getting seriusly hit by the turret. and nunu IS a TANK!

This comment one the one hand is right. On the other hand it is extremely wrong. Let me explain this.
The comment is wrong because Tank Master seem not to know what a tank's job is. Playing a tank is not about dealing damage. And saying Tank Nunu is not viable because he deals no damage couldn't be worse. BUT I agree with him that pure Tank Nunu isn't the best option. A tank needs to be able to support his team, especially he needs to be able to protect his team mates (let's say the enemy Nocturne tries to get down your carry in a team fight). The probleme about Nunu is that he just got a single target and AoE slow. In my opinion this is not enough CC for playing full tank. Just think about the massive CC of Leona, Alistar, Amumu and Galio. They all can take out almost the entire team. Nunu also isn't a great initiator. And that's a tank's job as well.

To sum that up: I would not play Nunu as a full tank. But you don't need that. AP Offtank is much more efficient for Nunu. He is almost as tanky as full tank but deals way more damage. Why is that helpful? As you deal more damage you will most likely get more damage yourself. And every damage you take means less damage for your team. Especially popping up your ult in a team fight is an awesome pseudo taunt as almost the entire team tries to stun you. And that's great? Why? Because you will get multiple CC on yourself what means a saver fight for your team mates. Well... if you read this you may think: Full tank Nunu can do this as well. Right. But enemies will just ignore you after using the ult. AP Offtank Nunu will probably get more damage. ;)

So I can actually only recommend the items you actually said not to get.

Rod of Ages, Mercury's Treads, Sunfire Aegis, Abyssal Mask

This makes you very tanky with having some decent AP. Nunu's abilities got great AP ratios. So you don't need a lot AP to be effective. Finish of that build with maybe Banshee's Veil, Deathcap, Zhonya's Ring.
Rushing Banshee's is in my opinion not really worth it. I know that you want to block a stun that could interrupt your ultimate. But in 99% Veil get's deactivated due to some AoE or spammable abilitie you'll get before that stun.

Well my friend, i ***mue u haven't even tried the build yet, huh? Give it a try first, and check my last game image the one where i show how much dmg i took.....it also shows i dealt over 90k dmg aswell, almost doubling what i took.

Please do so in order to give an opinion based on real facts and personal experience rather than just a thought. Also, my FIRST mention in this guide is that i do not command or say this is the best way to build nunu, but just a suggestion.

I don't think Nunu should be built as a tank, because unlike other tanks he has no real damage in team fights, unlike singed who can troll about with his poison. Yeah it's great being strong but you need to have some damage, I only think this build would be viable at lower levels, in level 30/ ranked games you would get owned.
