I honestly have a problem with lich bane as well honestly, however i think you'll find my arguments better then Lagger. 1. Your argument of Move speed is kinda weak, because Trinity force gives you a whole 5% ((atleast 15 bonus move speed on all champions, not including boots etc)). 2. On your ad heavy build, you have nowhere near enough ap((110, disregarding rageblade stacks which probally won't be on, at high enough of a value, to wager me doing the math)) to =more then 1 1/2 shaco's base damage. and the final nail in the coffin, is the fact that you make the comment, in your build i believe, that it helps in survivablity against mages you will be jumping. True, however you won't just be jumping mages, you will also be jumping ad champs, where the magic resists you'll have is pointless where as trinity has health as well. Ap build? Lich bane is an amazing item, but i personally don't agree with you on ad heavy lich.

I appreciate you having the common courtesy to explain yourself in your criticism. I see you point with the Lich Bane. As stated, it HAS worked for me in the past, but what I will do is play a couple matches. Half i'll use Lich Bane the other half i'll use either Trinity Force or rush Phantom Dancers and review. Thanks for your intelligent input :3

All in all Hextech Gunblade is probably a better item.

The problem remains that Lich Bane is an idiotic choice on an AD heavy build. Especially an early one. It deals less proc damage than Trinity Force due to having so little AP.

Just don't. Don't even bother to defend your item build choice.

Well, at first I thought you were giving an actual critique to my guide. Instead, you're flaming over one item that HAS worked for ME in past matches. To discredit the entire guide over one item seems to not only be rude, but a little ignorant. Trolls will be trolls after all. :3

Will make a 'special' section just for you then to help you sleep at night ^_^

-1 just because of Lich Bane in the first build.

I play both regular jungle and AP support Shaco, and your build is no good. It doesn't focus enough on his strengths. I get Guinsoo's Rageblade sometimes on him, because it gives humongous shiv damage thanks to Two-Shiv Poison's twin scaling, but there is no reason sufficient to explain why the flying fu would you build a Lich Bane on a mostly AD build. Movement speed is not a good enough reason. You could simply build Zeal earlier.

The movement speed is not the only perk he gets from Lich Bane. It gives him more survivability against the mages he'll be jumping on, due to the magic resist. Also, yes, the first build is leaned towards AD, but I also have an AP version of it (click the other clown). As you grow AP, that 100% ap damage on your backstabbed hit right out of deceive is an amazing either initiation or finishing blow. I can see how on the AD side of things you may lean towards the Zeal for Phantom dancer earlier, but I find the initial damage with Lich Bane more effective. I've done pure AP shaco games in the past as well, and I find since he's going to be getting up close and personal no matter how you build him, that added bit of burst could be the difference between surviving and dying. Granted, on the AD heavy build, I can see how an earlier Zeal could benefit, especially after getting the rageblade. I'll test it out. Thanks for the feedback!
