Hey my I am Diopside and I am a Bronze III player. I know this may not seem like much but I have some skill. Ever since Ekko came out on the PBE I have been hooked on him he is a great champion and I have yet to buy him on live but he is great and now my favorite champion. Ok now lets talk about some pros and cons with Ekko!

Cons-Item reliant
-Melee unlike some ap carry assassins
-Stun needs 3 seconds
-High mana cost early game

Now lets get talking about why you should buy the items I showed you!
This is a classic item to buy as an ap champion and work great on Ekko for the early bit of health, mana, and ap. You should sell this later on to get a better item however.

This is a great item on Ekko because of the ap it gives and it goes great with his increasing the damage of his next auto attack even more!

I think this is a great item on Ekko because of the high ap it gives you and the passive. It works great when poking the enemy with your and when going all in.

This is another great item on Ekko because of the amazing ap it gives you and this is also a pretty standard item I get on all my ap champions if I am ahead or just in the late game.

This is a good item on Ekko because of the ap it gives you but it is good for going against tanks with its magic pen.

This is the final item you should buy on Ekko in this list but I feel it is good to rush this item with its great mana regen so you can cast more spells in the early game.
