Introduction

Hello and welcome to this guide that will teach you how to play a MEAN AD Eve. What makes eve such a beast as AD is her abillity to go in, get a kill, get out and let her ulti heal her up, and then go in again right away.

This will be my first guide and i very much hope you like it.

Evelynn's origins are clouded in mystery, though it is clear upon first seeing her that she is not quite human. Some theorize that she was cursed with a mild form of vampirism as a child. Others suggest that her savagery in combat was so great that she has magically morphed into the hungering beast her opponents see on the battlefield. Evelynn simply smiles when hearing these stories, baring her razor-sharp fangs and teeth. Whether or not she herself knows her origins is unclear, but her recent admission into the Institute of War as a champion has certainly gained the attention of summoners more focused on the here and now.

''While Evelynn may have been given her title of ''The Widowmaker'' through legend, she earns it time and time again on the Fields of Justice.''

Playing as Evelyn
Evelynn can be built like an attacking character or a nuker. Try items like Trinity Force, Infinity Edge and The Bloodthirster.

Keep a careful eye for champions with the Oracle Elixir buff. If someone does have the buff, ask your teammates to help you kill them.

Mobility and surprise help Evelynn gain an early advantage. For example, using Stealth to switch lanes while invisible allows you to gank unsuspecting players.

I will continue the Eve guide when shes been changed, however this guide is still very funcitonal

Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation Greater Seal of Replenishment Greater Quintessence of Desolation

With the build ive made your main damage will be auto attacks with procs from Trinity Force to make Evelyn the strong carry she trully is.

What Ive found to work the best is a massive amount of armor pen runes so that you do not need to buy armor pen items and instead can focus on pure massive damage.

Attack speed runes is used to get those attacks from your trinity force of right away and simply melt through any carry.

The MP5 runes are more or less for early game since you will be jungling as soon as you get your wriggles lantern and therefore should have blue for your ganks / team fights.

Masteries

The masteries ive choosen is focused on what Evelyn does best, melting their faces. Its a pure damage build as you will spend alot of time in stealth waiting for the right chance to go in and kill their carry before they even know what happened. I dont find it needed to have more points in utility as im not having any mana issues what so ever lategame.

Summoner Spells

For summoner spells i chose to go with and so that i can get away / get up to and finnish a person just before a tower, and make sure they are going nowhere during the nuke.

You can run with if you see them running a heavy heal setup like nidalee / Soraka / Mundo though the first 2 should be dead before they get a spell off if picked at the right moment.

Core Items

Again, DAMAGE is the key to this build.

I usually start of by picking up the Longsowrd and a Health Potion.

You want to get Wriggle's Lantern right away so that you can start jungling / ganking with ease, after that you want abit of movement speed by buiing a pair of Boots of Speed and ofcourse Sheen that will increase your damage massivly in fights.

After that its pretty much a straight forward nukeage build with Trinity Force and The Bloodthirster to help out with the damage along with a Guardian Angel to help you out of the "oh ****" moments in team fights where you get focused down.

If they are tank heavy i normally chose a over the guardian / bloodthirster depending on whats needed.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
Good for early ganks.
Great jungler
Great lategame carry
Easy to get away with
Sick damage
Stealth

Cons:
Can be squizy if focused alot, though her ulti helps ALOT on it.
Oracle is a decent counter but can easily be dodged and handled.

Early Game Laning

Laning as EvelynEvelyn can be a pain in the ***, both depending on your team mate and on the enemy setup. The begining is the worst part, you wanna try and get as many last hits early so that you can get your Wriggle's Lantern together and start jungling.

I usually start out by picking the Ravage skill as my first ability so that i can harras the enemy abit while trying to get my farm going quick.

Things to note:

[*] When your Shadow Walk is about to run out you can, if possible run up to the enemy champion and get 1-2 auto attacks and back of without much trouble.
[*] If your having trouble farming cause the enemies are not scared enough of you, try and use your Shadow Walk to scare them off with. Simply entering the stealth state is usually enough to get the enemy champion to take a few steps back.

If your getting close to no farm and massive harras you got 2 things you can do.
[*] Try to go jungle early the madreds is not very expensive since you got the Long Sword as your first item, it will not be great but atleast its something till you get rest of your lantern together.
[*] Sit tight in the bushes / stealthed and leech XP and / or try to gank the enemy heroes.

As soon as you get your Lantern together you should head straight for the jungle, you can empty a jungle in a matter of minutes.

Abillities

Determined Killer - Reduces the incomming damage of minions, many people may not see how good this is, but it gives you the tool to actually gank a person surrounded by hes minions without puttin you in too big of a danger. However as allways, dont overextend.

Hate Spike - This will be the tool your using in every fight to put out massive damage, not because of the spell itself but because its spamable. You will be using this to proc as much as possible. Its pretty much the button you press while you wait for your to come off cooldown.

Shadow Walk - Stealth that gives you stun on whoever you open on. Its extremly powerfull since you will be able to sneak around the map without them having a clue where you are, wait out fights so that you can open on the carries that wait behind and on top of it all, it gives you a free stun.

Remember, open with Ravage if there is 1 target. If there is more open with Hate Spike and then use your Ravage as it will stun multiple targets that way.

Ravage - This is your main burst and main opener. It gives you that tiny bit of extra range that you cant get from an auto attack where you can get your stun off. Also if you use it from behind you lower their magic resistance however just use it when ever you can.

Malice and Spite - I'd actually go as far as to say this is one of the most overpowered ulties currently in the game as it gives you both: Movement Speed, Attack Speed, AND it heals you whenver ever you get an assist / kill that can keep you alive or even let you gank 2 persons at once without even loosing health.

Ganking

When it comes to ganking, your focus will allways be their squizies. By squizies i mean their supports, their ranged AD's and their AP's. You are NEVER to attack a tank unless hes completly alone with nowhere to run.

Your job in teamfights is to sneak in from behind and take out that Ashe pummeling your team to pieces before she gets anything of, then run away restealth and proceed to the next squizy.

EvelynEvelyn is great cause you can destroy targets in seconds and get away easy, make us of it!

When about to open on a target pop your Malice and Spite while stealthed it does NOT break your stealth. Then proceed in and either use your Hate Spike to AoE stun, or your For burst damage and start spamming that Hate Spike untill your Ravage is off cooldown again.

If more people join the fight and your not sure you can pick a target down without dying, RESTEALTH, you can allways come back and finnish them off, even if they are by the tower.

Summary

Awareness is the key to victory. Know where your enemies are, keep track of their wards (Even get an Oracle to counterward), ALLWAYS look for squizies pushing too far out so you can gank them and get that early advantage. Control the map, GET WARDS, being able to gank offensivly in their jungle WILL get you that win.

Start out by focusing on getting those last hits till you get your Wriggle's Lantern and then proceed to the jungle. Do not atempt to gank anyone before level 3 atleast unless they are beyond bad.

Keep ganking, keep farming, keep jungling. Early trinity force and infinity edge and you will rip right trought anyone even their tanks.

Shaco / Twitch on enemy team? Get that oracle ASAP will make it so much easier on yourself.

If the enemies are picking up oracles, try to either dodge them or wait for your team mates to start the fight then jump in kill that oracle and get out again.

You will be able to take 2-3 champions at once, but dont get too cocky and start dying unecesary, it will lead you to a swift loss.

I hope you enjoyed the guide and if you feel anything should be added or changed, please let me know.
