There are many reasons to play Qiyana and I will go over them now.

- High skill cap very mechanical
- Great in solo q
-late game hard carry potential
- can shred tanks and squishies with the right items

Those are some reasons why you should play qiyana. The most optimal way to play Qiyana right now is to practice combo speed and skill shot accuracy. Since she has been hit with nerf after nerf the only way you can win fights now is by being fast and getting as much abilities out and electrocute procs as possible. There have been many times where I have diffed enemy laners with my combo speed and my usage of the different elements. At some point I will update this and start posting my gameplay so I can show my decision making and how I use the different elements. There are some combos that will work better than others in certain situations. For example if you are close to the enemy you can AUTO E,Q,W,Q. If you cant get close enough to the enemy you can do Q,W,E,Q. Those are combos to get the enemy low. When you all in you can do something like AUTO,E,Q,W,Q,R. Try to get as many auto's in your combos as you can also you should use your prowlers in your combos as well if you mess up your E or just for extra damage. When you are roaming or ganking you mainly want to be using your bush element or your water element just in case you get caught by multiple enemies it will increase your chances of getting out by a lot. When I play mid I almost never use rock since it moves slower than bush and water so they can use that to get out of being poked or hit by a full all-in combo in lane when I ult them I will use rock for the extra damage since they can't dodge it when stunned.

For combo's there are many things you can do, we will start with the basic ones.

Q, W, E, Q is a standard combo used if you aren't close enough to e, q, w, q.


If you aren't going for flashy combos just do R,e,q,w,q, aa.

this combo is good at all points in the game. Good for lvl 3 all in before all in try to poke with q and get some auto's off.
Q,W,E,Q or E,Q,W,q.

my favorite combo is probably aa,E,Q,W,Q,R
no more prowlers active sadly

Qiyana is finally good again after almost half a year new item changes feel great.

So let's get on with the Matchups.

Against Adc's you want to give up first wave and just get the xp level 2 you can play a bit more for cs since you have brush Q and finally at level 3 you can try to trade. I wouldn't recommend trading though I would just ping for gank and if the enemy laner is really bad I'll be a bit more aggressive usually against adc's mid I go first strike and scale.

Against other melee assassins, I go electrocute and gap them

almost always go conquerer if you're experienced with qiyana I always go conquerer into fighters like yasuo, yone into jayce its good too.Against other assassins or matchups you are confident in go electrocute. Against hard matchups go first strike and farm.
