Ezreal Passive Ability
( Q ) Mystic Shot - Ezreal fires a bolt of energy in a line that will deal physical damage and apply on-hit effects to the first enemy it hits. If it strikes an enemy unit, all of Ezreal's cooldowns will be reduced by 1 second. ( An excellent poking ability with a long range, and if you land it it reduces any abilities on cooldown for 1 second.
( W ) Essence Flux - Ezreal fires a wave of energy in a line. Any enemy champions it passes through are dealt magic damage and have their attack speed slowed for 5 seconds, while any allied champions it travels through have their attack speed increased for 5 seconds. ( This skill isn't as useful as all the others, especially if you're building AD. Which is why I don't even put one point into it until level 13. Really, it's just a waste of mana, and Ezreal's Q, E, and R already take up enough mana. The only use for it is to shoot your teammates when they are pushing towers/taking buffs to increase their attack speed, you could also bring down enemy attack speed with it to gain a small advantage. )
( E ) Arcane Shift - Ezreal instantly teleports to a nearby target location and fires a homing arrow at the nearest enemy unit, dealing magic damage to it. ( This is the skill that makes Ezreal so hard to catch since you can go over walls with it. It is basically Flash with a lower cooldown. Plus it attacks the nearest enemy unit where you land. )
( R ) Trueshot Barrage - Ezreal channels for 1 second to fire a powerful broad energy missile that will travel in a line by the whole map and will deal magic damage to each enemy unit they pass through. It will deal 8% less damage for each subsequent target hit, down to a minimum of 30% damage dealt. ( The ability that Ezreal is known for. It's a cross map skill shot that deals insane damage. It can be used to finish off enemies, defend your tower, harass, and steal buffs. This skill comes back before you know it because of Mystic Shot's on-hit effect. )
Spell Combo for Max Burst
E > Auto Attack > Q > Auto Attack > Trueshot Barrage
This combo allows you to kite fast, and I mean fast. It catches your opponent off guard and is very deadly.
Greater Seal of Resilience - Good for laning, extra sustainability against the enemy's AD carry.
Greater Glyph of Clarity - Ezreal's spells cost a lot of mana, and you want to be able to cast your Mystic Shot as much as possible.
Greater Glyph of Warding - A good choice if you are going mid against an AP Caster or to be able to take a little more harass when you take damage from the enemy bot lane's support.
Greater Quintessence of Strength - FARMFARMFARMFARM.
Exhaust - Makes up for Ezreal's lack of CC, just a great spell for dueling.
Alternatives
Clairvoyance - A good choice if you want to double check before shooting your ultimate, but beware that most players will sense the danger if they see a CV pop over their head.
Ignite - Run this if you already have enough Exhaust on the team.
Heal - Increased sustain, and can easily turn a fight around.
Cleanse - A great spell to be running if the enemy team has a lot of CC, it goes well with Ezreal's spammable blink.
If you are forced to tower hug, just last hit with your Q. The MP5 runes should help you regen mana faster.
DO NOT USE TRUESHOT BARRAGE TO FARM! even though this skill has a low cooldown, it shouldn't be used for creep farm. The only acceptable time is when minions are pushed to your tower. Save your ulti, because if you don't you may lose an opportunity for a free kill.
