Ezreal is a high skill champion that when played and built correctly can and will devastate opponents quicker than most AD carries. The reason for this is his mobility, since he relies on his abilities landing in order to gain attack speed and quickly shut down enemies he has the ability to move around more, dodging and skill-shotting his foe before laying into them with auto attacks tearing them apart. He can be easily shut down if you are not careful, he may have escapability with his own flash but this can also be countered.

Ezreal's damage early off and poking is very rune/mastery reliant without Armor Pen or Attack Damage Marks/Quintessences you will find yourself lacking the pokage that he needs. Since his Q triggers on hit effects you will notice yourself being targetted by minions more often then not. Taking Armor Seals will help counter that and help counter pokes from other AD carries in lane. As always with an AD carry, take along a full set of MR p/l glyphs to shield yourself a little better as you may not have good enough sustainability early off.

I recommend a standard AD carry page swapping in some life steal for to keep your health full early on and allow you to effectively farm those creeps. Getting some max mana and mana regen masteries will also allow better lanability and help you poke/execute your enemies.

Since Ezreal relies more so on abilities than auto attacks you should be rushing a blood thirster and/or Infinity edge to make the most of his Q and R's seeing as they benefit from his extra attack damage. Aiming for a Sheen soon after will be highly beneficial and allow you to chain ability/auto attack combos dealing heavy damage.

Maxing your Q is a must. You will find yourself poking, chasing, farming and executing with it all round. if you see 2 minions and are unable to hit them both with auto attacks your Q will come in very handy. If you see a champion drifting away from his minion wave handing a quick Q will poke him down. Do this repeatedly and you can E into a W and execute with Q or R or Ignite.

Ignite and Flash. Ignite for those pre ulti executes allowing you to feed hard and Flash for those tight spots where E just isn't enough. However, Flash can be swapped out for a Ghost quite often here, a smart E into a Ghost will get you out of almost any situation or help you catch any runner.

Pros - Strong, high damage, mobile, fun and skill based.
Cons - Skill based, useless if out farmed/fed, squishy.

With some skill, team work and map awareness you will be able to land some epic skill shots with your ulti across the map executing multiple targets at once striking fear into your opponents.

With Ezreal is out fed or farmed he will be out damaged and shut down very easily so don't rely on being able to just kill and kill your laners. You must farm with your Q and auto attack, try not to miss a minion as this will put you far ahead into the match with gold allowing for an early Infinity Edge or Blood Thirster. Then you can start slaughtering.
