Annie is hands down my favorite midlaner. Shes got insane burst damage, shes easy and simple to use, and she can carry hard with her teamfight presence with how effective her stun is. My goal with this guide is to explain how I play Annie. Small note about the summoners: TP and flash are the strongest summoners in my opinion. With Annies combo throwing out tibbers who chases down the kills with you, ignite isnt as necessary as with other midlaners.

Pretty much regardless of the match up you dont want an early all in pre lv6. Tibbers is core to your damamge combo as well as your follow up. Focus on farming and try to have 900~ gold before your first back. More is perfect, less is fine, just avoid all-inning before your first back for the extra CDR from fiendish codex. It makes chasing the kill easier which youll probably have to do early.

When you combo with Annie, start with your Q. Against targets with high mobility your bear can be easily predicted and avoided. An example would be Fizz and his playful trickster. If you ult and he dodges it, chances are you're dead. If you open with Q however if Fizz dodges, it wont burn your passive stacks and you can follow it up with ulti or wait the short duration for your Q to ensure the entire combo lands. If you're in a one vs one situation, opening with your Q is always the ideal. Teamfights, if you have to be the engage go for a flash->ulti when you can hit their APC and ADC at once or wait for someone else to engage. Dont waste the mass AOE of your ulti if you cant hit 2~3 priority targets.

Post laning phase, your goal should be staying grouped and acting as the perfect cc you are. Wandering off alone when youre as squishy as you are is a huuuuuuge no-no. Farm untill everyones ready to group, which by then you should have Rylais as well as Morellos, and youll carry your team to victory.
