Introduction

Welcome to my very first guide! I was playing around with Fiora for the past few days and as I was playing around with her build I found that this build seems to be very effective.

I'll be working on this guide as I play more and more with her and any Constructive Criticism is appreciated, note that there is a difference between Constructive Criticism and Trolling.

I don't want to see any comments with a one word answer to why you down-voted my guide, please explain.

Please note that Fiora is NOT someone who can just haul balls into the middle of a lane at level 2 to try and double kill Renekton and Tryndamere you do have to use her with caution, Fiora is the type of hero that if you go ahead and feed the other team you'll go right ahead and pick up a lose with a 1/17/4 record for the day, Gratz.

Runes

I chose this rune setup because with the lack of a Phantom Dancer your critical rate is rather low with just an Infinity Edge, although these runes are not a necessity, I personally feel that a charged Bloodthirster , an Infinity Edge , Black Cleaver , and Frozen Mallet give you plenty of enough AD and Armor Penetration to supplement this build, so the extra 20% critical chance with the added 25% from your Infinity Edge adds up to a nice 45% critical chance with some pretty massive damage and lifesteal.

Masteries

The Masteries are pretty self-explanatory for any AD carry build to be honest, you may want to put points into Defense instead of Utility for whatever reason, but I find the extra movement speed and buff time increase for Red and Blue buff are pretty helpful to land that first Lunge , and Burst of Speed to make sure they don't get away, and to help you kill them once you land it.

Note in games you'll most likely be feeding Blue buff to your AP carry, so the mastery mostly focuses on Red buff.

Items

The item setup I chose was focused on three things, Farming, Sustainability, and the ability to KILL.

The only reason I chose Boots of Swiftness over say Berserker's Greaves is to once again compensate for the lack of a Phantom Dancer, once you catch up and hit them with a Lunge and your Burst of Speed, your movement speed will spike anyways compounding with Frozen Mallet making it almost a sure kill.

Now for the biggest question you'll probably have. Y U NO HAVE Phantom Dancer!? I believe that Fiora's Burst of Speed makes up for any AS and Movement Speed loss, the only thing you really lose from not having one is more critical strike chance, which with the runes I don't believe is much of a problem anyways. Some of you may be asking, why Wriggle's Lantern. Fiora isn't going to get fed every single round by fail squishies, most of the time people you play with are going to be in your league, and if Fiora falls too far behind shes practically useless.

I think that Wriggle's Lantern lends reasonable sustain and farming ability, the extra AD, Armor, and that sexy Sight Ward all come in handy of course too. If you're still against my choice to take Wriggle's Lantern and still don't see why you shouldn't get a Phantom Dancer or you just believe your that good and can farm just fine without a Wriggle's Lantern and will certainly be fed, feel free to switch the items.

Or better yet create aWriggle's Dancer

Pros / Cons

Pros:
+ Massive Damage

+ Awesome Ultimate

+ Great Mobility

+ Riposte

+ Can carry hard

Cons:

- Pretty Squishy even with Wriggle's Lantern and Frozen Mallet.

- Farm dependent if not fed early.

- Ultimate can sometimes get you killed due to the fact it always returns to the original target.

- Lacks any form of Magic Resist.

Summoner Spells

For summoner spells I personally enjoy using Ignite and Flash. Ignite secures those early game kills, as well as some late game kills, and Flash is just good for everything to be honest, ganking, escaping, catching up to the people with five Phantom Dancers and a set of Mobility Boots, and much more.

Other summoner spells that are benifical to Fiora are Ghost and Exhaust. Another spell you may consider using is Teleport to get back in your lane faster after a battle. I feel that Surge is totally unnecessary but if you really want to use it I guess thats a semi-viable option too.

Skills

I personally take Burst of Speed first because its pretty good for getting first blood on Fiora. Another good option would be to get Lunge first so you can really lock on to enemies with low health early.

Lunge should always be maxed last, but take one early. its only real use is to lock on to enemies to engage, and if used correctly harass.

Riposte should always be maxed second due to it's damage increasing passive and the fact that it can turn a death into a double kill real quickly, especially when used on those pesky Turret Divers when used in succession with Flash and Blade Waltz

Burst of Speed should always be maxed first due to the benefits of your passive Duelist, and the skill itself granting massive damage, life regen, and speedy farming.

Blade Waltz should of course, like every other ultimate, be taken at 6, 11, and 16, this skill is what really defines Fiora as a hero, it has on-hit effects, makes you untargetable, and takes massive damage to everyone around you, and when paired with Ignite you have an extremely deadly combination especially in one versus one battles, could you ask for much more?

These skills, if used correctly, can result in massive kill streaks, multi-kills, and eventually take you on to carrying the game.

Summary

I hope you liked my guide and to conclude it I'd like to point out a few main points for using Fiora:

- She is NOT a diving machine, she will get wrecked without help in the beginning
- Farming is pretty essential.
- The runs help tons with critical chance.
- Phantom Dancer is an option to swap with Wriggle's Lantern although only recommended if you're really good with Fiora.
- Blade Waltz and Ignite in combination is deadly.
