Hello. Welcome to my guide on Fizz - The Tidal Trickster. Fizz is an AP Carry, a great mid, or top laner, and an amazing jungler. Fizz has to be my favourite or one of my favourite champions in the game, because of his DoT, great escape and chasing mechanism, his ult is crazy good if you can land skillshots, and overall he is super fun to play.

Summoner Spells

For Summoner spells, i like to take Flash and exaust. flash for extra chasing help / getaways, and exaust will really help you for tower diving, chasing, and escaping a TON.

Other Spells i would suggest: Ghost This spell is great for chasing, your E is great for escaping with quick getaways, but when you're chasing / being chased, this spell is great for long distance escapes and great for catching up.

Heal Considering Fizz is very strong early game, this spell is great for sustain, and it can be a life saving spell in those first blood 1v1's. I would recommend this spell if you are looking to have little to no deaths, but still be aggressive.

Ignite This spell is great for ganking, but when you consider in the fact Fizz's W is a DoT spell, i's not needed too much.

Flash This spell is great for getaways, short distance ganks, and with exhaust a great spell for turret diving. I would recommend this spell if you are an aggressive laner, (with fizz that's very common).

Exhaust First of all i can't say how many times this spell has saved me. It would probably be my most recommended spell to use with fizz. Great for chasing, tower diving, escaping, tea fights, etc.

For damage masteries i like to have ability power for maximum damage output to help you on those 1v1's,i take cooldown reduction, which on fizz is really helpful because if you're relying on your E to chase, even a little CDR will help you using it faster, and the same goes with your Q to catch up.

For my utility masteries i take mana per level just so in the laning phases you don't run out of mana as fast. i take movement speed to help you with chasing and escaping, and increased buff time, because when fizz has red/blue buff, if it's for ganking or just keeping your mana up so you can dominate your lane, this will help greatly.

For Runes, I take ability power Glyphs for maximum damage output, I take magic penetration marks, just to give you that little bit more of an advantage on tanks, etc. I take mana regen seals, and mana quintessences.

For my items, i like to have Ability power, Mana, and healh for more sustain. the most important item you need to get is Rod of Ages. once you have this, you will be keeping them hugging the turret all game. Sorcerer's Shoes These will help for the movement speed and ability power they provide, so i like to get them very early too. next i get Rylai's Crystal Scepter for the health, and ability power it provides for sustain and damage output. after this i like to take Lich Bane for it's mana and ability power, again for damage output. If you are up against a tank, or someone building magic resist, i highly recommend getting the Void Staff. This will increase your damage output to them, and help you to take them out on those 1v1's.
Finally, i get Rabadon's Deathcap this ill give you incredible ability power, because of it's 140 to start, and the 30% boost. For my second build i would suggest Abyssal Mask, Guardian Angel, Banshee's Veil for better sustain.

My Summary:

Overall, Fizz is one of the funnest champions i have ever played. He is an amazing ganker with or without his ult, (so much more fun with his ult) he has insane burst damage because of his ability power early and late game. He dominates his lane no matter where he is, has a great escape and chase mechanism, and last but not least, my favourite thing about Fizz, is seeing Karthus's reaction when his ult get's dodged with my E.
