How to use spellthiefs

so there are multiple routes with taking spellthiefs. if you have lane dominance start procing spellthiefs with q to complete the quest and once thats up then proc kleptomancy and cs for more gold. If they are a bruiser i.e jax, panth then you will have to not cs right away and occasionally poke. you want to not cs so the wave is under your tower giving you abit more saftey, the enemy has two options, dive and take turrets or risk getting poked. the good thing about this is they are always in a ganking position for your jungler.

yes you might have 14cs by 5 minutes but your runes and items will always keep your gold even with the other laner....YOU MIGHT GET FLAMED FOR NOT HAVING CS just ping back the 3k gold youre sitting on

once your quest is complete around 10 minutes feel free to cs

Mid Game

the first power spike will happen when you get sheen. SONAS PASSIVE IS THE KEY every 3 spells she gets an empowered auto attack either more damage, a slow, or dmg reduction on the champion hit. you always want to stack Q with her passive it hits like a train and is the sole reason for this working. you can also use E to slow enemies down to catch up and then combo. remember manaflow band gives you so much mana that its basically urf, you constantly want to be using spells so you always have the 3rd stack.

Because her passive spell is considered an auto attack sheen and eventually lich bane will allow you to one shot adcs, two shot mages and poke tanks effectively

kiting is a must, ideally you Q(passive proc) - then W(if damage was taken) and E to leave and repeat. this way youll stack Q all the time without worrying how many spells youve casted

End game

Team fighting is where she shines. even if you dont demolish top lane you are a healing and poking god. play safe in team fights and proc the passive youll have no problem at all. After a while youll know when oneshots or dives are worth it.
