Her early ultimate duration is 1.5 secs, this is pretty low and wont have a impact on you HOWEVER on mid-game or late game she will destroy you because of increasing ultimate durations. She will also catch up to you quite easily thanks to her Hookshot TM
Introduction
I currently rank third at TR mastery points on Jhin.
THIS IS NOT THE MAXIMUM SPEED YOU CAN ACHIEVE ON JHIN!
This build is made so you have both the speed and the damage. You will probably never be that I AM THE FAST guy with over +1500 ms
My guide is WIP right now but it has some basic information to get you running on the rift instantly. Hope you enjoy.
8.11 UPDATE: With the new marksmen changes the new updated build can get you around 1000-1100 AD if you are full build with elixir of wrath.
Celerity because we will always run after some point so its good too have atleast 20-50 AD from that
8.12 UPDATE: Celerity's MS nerfed to %1.5 but its AD ratio buffed to %9.6, this rune is bonkers now and you will get some insane AD from it.
8.16 UPDATE: Celerity conversion nerfed so you will get less AD from bonus MS, still a valuable rune
Gathering Storm because we dont miss out on damage because of our AS items.
It also scales nicely with Jhin's passive and Celerity
Legend:Alacrity because it gives us AS so that means more passive movespeed and AD
Coup de Grace because we empower our fourth shot even further
Triumph to snowball harder and have more 1v2 potential and potentially avoid death
- A really fun build to annoy your enemies
- Thanks to the new runes and marksmen changes at 8.11 has insane damage at lategame
- Has an above average laning stage
- Can be done in ranked if you are good at Jhin against almost no CC opponents
Cons
- Win or feed lane build
- Heavily dependant on his crits
- Quite squishy
DEATH IN 4 ACTS: Jhin's basic attacks use ammunition and his attack speed cannot be improved except through growth by level-up. Jhin's attack speed growth is classified as Base Attack Speed. Jhin can attack 4 times before having to reload for 2.5 seconds, and does so automatically after 10 seconds of neither attacking nor using an ability.
The fourth attack is guaranteed to Critical strike icon critically strike, dealing 15 / 20 / 25% of the target's missing health bonus physical damage. The fourth attack will still critically strike against structures, but deals 44% reduced damage and doesn't apply the bonus physical damage.
EVERY MOMENT MATTERS: Jhin's critical strikes grant him 10% (+ 4% per 10% bonus attack speed) bonus movement speed for 2 seconds, but his total critical damage is reduced by 25%.
Additionally, he gains 2% - 40% (based on level) (+ 4% per 10% critical strike chance) (+ 2.5% per 10% bonus attack speed) AD as bonus attack damage.
Explanation:
Your passive is what makes this build work, you get AD from building attack speed, and critting will give you movement speed depending on your attack speed. Without this passive this build is basically non-existant, its the most important part of your kit.
Jhin's Q(Dancing Grenade)
ACTIVE: Jhin launches a canister at the target enemy, dealing physical damage. Dancing Grenade bounces to up to three additional enemies beyond the first, with each kill it performs increasing its total damage by 35%.
Explanation:
You will max your Dancing Grenade(Q) first because its scaling is too good to avoid, and its the most important skill for you to lane effectively.
Jhin's W(Deadly Flourish)
Jhin brandishes his cane, firing a single shot with incredible range. It pierces through minions and monsters, but stops on the first champion hit. If the target was recently struck by Jhin's allies, lotus traps, or basic attacks, they are rooted.
Jhin fires a long range shot that stops on the first champion hit, dealing 50/85/120/155/190 (+50% Attack Damage) physical damage to it, and 75% of that damage to minions and monsters hit along the way.If Deadly Flourish strikes a champion that has been hit by one of Jhin's basic attacks, Lotus Traps, or allies within the last 4 seconds it will root them for 0.75/1/1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds and grants Jhin movement speed as though he had crit them
Explanation:
EMPHASIS on the movement speed part, it triggers your passive, this can be useful to save you when you cant crit repeadetly. It also pretty much roots your enemy so you can spin around them with your +600 ms making them insane.
We will also takebecause its doubles our crit chance, which makes us abuse our passive easier and the true damage is too good to ignore.
We will go withbecause of its attack speed and a bonus %7 movement speed.
We go withbecause it both gives us %30 AS, 70 AD which scales with Jhin INCREDIBLY and also because of its passive we can go faster.
Mercurial Scimitar because it doubles our speed, gives us some nice lifesteal and magic resistance.
Other than that your job as a top lane Jhin in ranked should be pressuring your opponent to a point where they will start crying to their jungle. So you start snowballing and make him fall down easier and potentially win the game easily.
8.12 EDIT: This build seems to be above average with the new Marksmen and Support changes, if you trust yourself you can actually safely attempt this on ranked.
