Minor suggestion: I would disagree with taking Frozen Heart on Galio as it reduces (albeit only slightly) the effectiveness of his ultimate (the attack speed reduction will reduce the number of hits he recieves).

I think some parts might need some extra explanation for summonner spells alternatives, for the skills itself and it would be nice to have a view of the pros and cons of galio.

The basic is good though, I would just like to see more structure and explanation.

Yea, I like grabbing defensive items because I think that they are underrated and because I play this build in my ranked team, where I am sure my teammates will support me.

Regarding mana regen, I have little problems with chalice, meditate and catalyst, as well as because Im in a team with my friends I am guaranteed all blue buffs unless they decide to try and counter jungle.

This isn't a carry build persay but rather an aoe ap bruiser/lock down, which may explain why I average a KDA ratio of 4-4-11

Great guide, but a tad short. I also don't agree with your choice of skipping boots. Honestly, I'm curious where you're getting enough mana regen to sustain galio in lane, because chalice alone won't do it. I know skilling bulwark can keep you safe, but it ruins your kill potential.

Also, I think you go a tad overboard with the defensive items. Consider sorc shoes and/or haunting guise. Cheap, and stack amazingly well with abyssal scepter.
