Hello, i am a guy who plays on the euw servers and i am quite experienced with Gangplank so i deiced to make a guide / build on Gangplank. Let me start of by saying that Gangplank is a melee dps tank who does tons of damage when played with critical strike chance here is a small music vid about that
starting items

Boots + 3x Health Potions are the standard opening items on most chapions as they give you a movement speed and health. |
As a offtank i would recommend a Long Sword+ 2x Health Potions for that easy early lane. |
Brawler's Gloves+ 2x Health Potions is a good choice if you want to do a good amount of scare damage your opponent.
