Garen has really good camp clear, no mana to worry about; But not to mention passive health regen, meaning he doesn't have to recall back to base as much as his fellow "Meta Junglers".
Ganks are actually quite simple for Garen, all he has to really do is wait for them to over extend, and punish.
Team needs a tank? Easy Re-spec of your items, but for the most part all you gotta do is be you.
