Oh my god. Reading that is hilarious.

Characters should never be built the same way every game, I didn't imply they did. I just merely stated that you need to rush some early AD on every single AD carry.

Your build does "work", per se, but it's considerably inferior to any build that gets some early AD.

You said Xin is OP? Really?...
Compare the amount of times Xin was used in Dreamhack to, say, Ashe. Ashe also had a 76% win rate.

You don't need good mobility if you're positioned well. If you're being hit, then to be honest you're usually dead anyway in a team fight. Learn to position yourself better.

DPS Champions do not need mana.
If you're running oom as any of them then you need to conserve your mana a little more. For example, I doubt you watched it, but in Dreamhack, the AD carries always had most of their mana and all but Corki (because he has crazy synergy with Manamune) didn't build mana items.

You listed Ashe, really?...
Stop using Frost Shot on minions and spamming Volley and you'll sit at relatively high mana all the time...
She's one of the most mana INDEPENDENT carries. Just because she has a 4s CD on W doesn't mean you use it every 4s.

Why did you list Malphite as an AD Carry? He's a tank. Why is Anivia stacking Archangel staffs? That's a ridiculous idea...
Why is Yi and Malphite not level 16-18ish yet where they can manage their mana by the time Anivia has got boots, a Deathcap and two staffs...

Heard of MP5/level seals? Didn't think so.

The Blue Buff isn't just for the mana. It's for the cooldowns. Mages can put out SO MUCH MORE damage with lower cooldowns - AD carries only get it increased slightly

You seeing an Orianna waste clarity then proceed to waste her mana does not mean she's super duper mana dependant. That just proves that certain Orianna needs to learn how to manage her mana together.

This doesn't prove that MF needs mana, this just proves that you need to manage your mana better. If I see a MF lock in with Clarity, I'd honestly queue-dodge.

All we can do is agree to disagree.
But don't knock it until you try it.

As I said, what's the point in posting another typical build?
"The build" definitely works, you can get kills and have fun.
Just because I didn't post

doesn't mean the build I posted doesn't work, because it does.

If you build the same character the same way every game, why even bother playing at all?
Champion builds should be explored.

Another reason I rush PD on Miss Fortune is because of her passive. Once she is hit, her mobility goes down drastically. And let's say you run out of mana, so no . What use is she then? You think she can just auto attack someone with 80 damage per second on someone and then run away? when she could be hitting them for 240 damage per second + crits with no damage items? and then actually be able to outrun anyone?

Btw, when I said buffs sometimes lay there, I meant that often times no one on my team will pick them up.
Most mages actually need help getting blue buff, even late game.

For saying DPS champions don't need mana is insane.
is one of the least mana dependant, but his mana regen is pretty bad.
He can't knock someone up or ultimate without mana. And his knockup is what makes him the little OP **** he is.

Another example is . She is probably one of the most mana dependent DPS carries in game.

You can not just take away mana from your DPS champions, and expect them to play just as good.
The gameplay of these champions would be completely different if it weren't for their abilities.

DPS champions are even more mana hungry than AP carries.
Blue Buff is much more suited on or even simply because they need it more than who already owns two !
But of course, Anivia and similar champions should be given a buff or two early game.

But I can not tell you how much it aggravates me for a champion like to take blue buff when I'm playing nocture and about to gank top, when she already has clarity and Catalyst the Protector.

It's true, when a DPS champion runs out of mana, they aren't COMPLETELY useless, but their chances of helping out a team mate or getting away go down severely.

The mana issue has always been a big deal for me. Recently I saw a who had and would use all of her abilities on farming and then randomly use even when I had a full mana pool and then when a team fight came around, she was completely useless and couldn't even run away because she didn't buy boots until late game.

^Just a random rant, anyway.

Hopefully you can try this build out, because I wouldn't of spent so much time on it if it was a flop.

Sorry, but I'm forced to downvote this guide.

You should NEVER rush a PD.

MF has an AS steroid in her W, adding a BF Sword would be giving her what's essentially double damage on her auto attacks, she already has suffice AS before some serious AD. You don't even stack Doran's Blades before your PD...

I play MF a LOT. I have a guide (albeit, not the best one in the world) on her myself - and I even made a montage with her a while back too. Why exactly are you pushing with W? Why aren't you auto attacking in the laning phase? Why are you spamming your Q? If she needed mana so much she would get a Manamune, but she simply doesn't. She is my favourite ranged AD carry. if you're running out of mana then take MP5 seals...

I know, the guide isn't just a build, but really, you don't make a Rammus tank build where I build pure AD but make the guide about a tank.

As you said about the tank -
MF Can't tank. Saying that's the same as going into a game as Amumu and saying "I'm not going to AD carry".

I never once implied you'd need MPen more than Sunder, take a point out of Offence Mastery or Alacrity. I'd advise 3 points in the AD mastery and none in Offence Mastery. I can't believe you prefer 0.4 MP5 (off 10 MP5, which you'll have for most of the game) over 6-7 seconds less at the end of the game, which can stop a baron or recover from a bad team fight.

I can tell the build's bad because the build is plain bad. Why would I want to use a build with two IEs in it? Why would I want to gimp myself to prove a point? Watch the Dreamhack championship, you'll see that EVERY AD carry rushes either a BF sword or gets a LOT of Doran's blades before a Zeal, THEN a BF sword.

Why are you building crit/AS on Kog, Sivir, Tristana, and TF? It's absolutely terrible for them. To be honest, the only champion on there where it's really viable is on GP, but he's barely viable himself.

For one, TF is an AP carry. There's no disputing that.
Tristana has all the AS she needs from her Q. You have 90% AS, getting more AD to attack more often with works SO much better.
Kog should stack AS and MPen. Sorc Shoes/Madred's and you're good. Crit is stupid when all of your damage is magic.
Sivir is a pusher, and you can't crit towers.

There's no point critting if you can do more damage with a BF Sword and have that damage assured 100% of the time.

Edit: Oh, and since when have buffs just been "lying there", that shows a clear lack of knowledge of the game. Buffs should (and are) ALWAYS taken upon spawn. Red by AD carries and blue by AP carries. AD carries don't need mana to throw out their crazy damage, AP carries do.

The reason why I don't start with Dorans is because I completely rush my PD.
What good does a BF sword do, when you could be attacking 3x as fast as your base attack speed, which is, essentially, more damage per second than with even two BF swords. With all the crit chance, you will be causing so much harm to the other team before any actual damage items.

I listed many, many optional items that depend on the situation and personal preference.
Saying that Miss Fortune does not need mana tells me you haven't played her much or haven't played her to the full extent that you should. Late game, she's fine on mana. All through early game, and mid game (i.e. the majority of the game) she is pretty mana dependent, as you definitely aren't just going to be auto attacking enemies early game, you will be harassing constantly with your Q and pushing with your E.

"The" build is the build I go with, with no counter build. I listed anything and everything you'd need to counter build, and how to do as such. The core build consists of basically 2 items, Phantom Dancers and Infinity Edge. This guide is not based around a set build, but more of a guide on playing a champion.

As far as my notes on tank, I did not suggest that you should just start a game with her and decide, hey, I'm going to tank. No. It's heavy counter building, and how to do it well on a DPS champion.

As far as my masteries are concerned, why would I need magic pen over armor pen, on my DPS build? And I prefer the extra Mana and Health regen over good hands, for obvious reasons.

And as I said, this guide is centered around Miss Fortune the champion, not Miss Fortune build-her-this-way-or-fail. I can tell you have never built Miss Fortune or any DPS champion in this manner, because if you have, you would know how well it actually works.

Another note, on blue buff, I did say that it should be given to your jungler, but I find in many cases, blue buff can get ignored, and often times, it will just sit on the map. DPS carry is far more important than any AP carry, whom can easily build mana regen items and cooldown items into their build easily, and in most cases, they do and probably should if they don't.

I hope I've addressed everything :) All in all, I'm glad for the feedback;
but please, do try the crit build, it sure seems to work on champions like

Am I missing anyone?

Also, I did some lurking around on the Miss Fortune builds.
What would be the point in posting a typical build, that already exists, anyway?

VERY Bad build.

Dagger as a starting item is a BIG no-no. Boots/Doran's.

No early AD from a BF sword or something on your first b. You'll be attacking fast, but you'll be doing bad damage.

You advise a Ghostblade? Really? That's pretty bad on a non-melee.

You advise purchasing Mana potions, MF doesn't need mana at all really - and those potions are EXTREMELY bad value for money. They cost more than health potions and do a LOT less.
You also advise blue buff and clarity. Blue buff should ALWAYS go to your jungler (early game) or usually, AP carry.

Bad masteries - no Good Hands? No +15% MPen when your ult/E is magic damage?

Absolutely no bulk whatsoever. You're made of paper...

However, I refrained from downvoting, since it's clear there's a lot of hard work been put into this guide. I hope you adjust it accordingly.

Edit: Oh, and MF can't tank. A tank without CC isn't a tank. A ranged DPS isn't a tank. You need a good initiation and a hard CC. Take Rammus, powerball to get there and a 3s taunt. A ranged DPS won't be in melee because her abilities are naturally at range. What's to stop the enemy running away from you or ignoring you?
